Legendaries have no gender.

Lati@s duo, the Genies (Landorus, Tornadus, Thundurus), Cresselia and Heatran all have genders.

Sup3rn00b 04-07-2013 10:51 PM

Heatran is a legendary?

That new MewThree(or whatever it will be called) just shows the huge gap between the designs of the older pokemon and the new ones. Though I will say it's possible the new one is a more accurate and successful clone of Mew, therefor it kind of justifies the "cute" and soft, round design. Otherwise you can see the big difference between the two:

Mewtwo had so many sharp edges and wasn't afraid of an angle or two in the lines. Pointy joints, muscular-like chest and pointy eyes with a bit of anger behind them. The new one is round, round... and more round.

Well it does have them ears which are pretty pointy so i guess they coukd be said

Was gonna mention heatran earlier but I was entirely sure.

"Believe it or not, Heatran is a legendary pokemon even though it has a gender. As a matter of fact, all legendary pokemon were genderless until Generation 3 when Latias and Latios were the only legendaries with genders. Cresselia is also a legendary pokemon with a gender. Heatran is just the first and currently only legendary pokemon that doesn't have a set gender"

Sup3rn00b 04-07-2013 10:53 PM

Cresselia.

I am dead serious, I have NEVER heard of this thing.

Those are not legendaries. More like Sub-Legendary

Known as the Eon Pokémon, Latias and Latios are two legendary Pokémon originating from the Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald series of games. They are female and male respectively, and the first legendary Pokémon to have genders.

Cresselia is one of six legendary Pokémon that has a definite gender, the other five being Latias (a female-only species), Latios (a male-only species) and the Kami trio (whose members are all male-only species).

I refuse to accept them as legendaries. They hold no value (except latios and latias) and I refer to them as sub-legendaries because they are more or less of a filler to get more "legendary" pokemon in one game.

Yes, they are legendaries on the exterior, but they really miss the point of what getting a legendary was about, having a good backstory and being hard as hell to get. Like Mewtwo or Kyogre.

IT LOOKS SO WEIRD. and it looks like its holding its own ****

Lati@s was one of the hardest Pokémon to catch in the main series games. And what makes the Genie trio not legendary? Just because they're not a version mascot and/or in the first 151 doesn't make them "sub-legendary". They're legendaries, and they have genders.

are these the people you are referring to?

Let me explain something, when I say sub-legendary, I mean the legendaries that are not exactly a part of the main story or have no real story at all. They are just there for the sake of having more than one legendary in the game at a time.

Latios and Latias are like the easiest legendaries to catch as of GEN5

Sorry, my views on legendaries don't match up with the actual definition. To me, they are like the demi gods of the gods.

Remorse 04-07-2013 11:40 PM

Pretty sure those are the lake guardian legendaries.
The Kami trio are the ones from Generation 5
