seems to me that admin choices are getting sloppy. It appears that people get hired for no reason apart from who they know and are friends with and then some pretty decent admins get fired.

She does help the player base immensely without being an admin, and now she can do it on a larger scale.

Funny you mention this, but known people and those who we're friends with are actually worth it. Else they won't be known nor our friends.

Not always. Some are just suck ups and some were just friends with the admin before they were an admin. So it is an unfair advantage over other people.

Not really if you look at it from our perspective it works. Think of it this way: We have a person that everybody knows and will already get along with plus we can trust them on top of their good app. Then there is a guy that we have no knowledge about just a good app. I mean I personally think that taking people that will get along with staff from the get go works but thats just me.

And congrats Jeni! Dont listen to the haters xD you will do great!

and of course, we all know some players will be unhappy for this decision but please give her a chance..she hasn't even started yet and I know she will do just fine. Who knows, in the future she could be your favorite admin, always actively helping you guys (xD use her to your advantage, she's hired to be your slave now XD)

I thought Admins read the logs anyways... Is there like an Admin I can chose to stalk me, (Well, lets say "Watch") to see what I do... Just curious. ANYWAYS...

I think that lots of the Admins I see dont really hold events or auctions or even help the community to often... We need more people like that. Could we hire someone like that? (A good example such as me) I would be happy to spend 5 or 6 hours a day holding events and auctions.

It shouldn't be when they're hiring, if you want the job help out people the best you can throughout when you play. But good job :3
