I think I liked Smash better when I could just pick a character and play. Now I'm hearing from people "[Insert Name Here] is a total cheap ass."

When i had brawl i used to take tons of dirty looking shots for the lols.

Lol smashbros has always been like that because of tiers. Some characters are better than other. Like shulk vs dhd and sonic vs dhd are two match ups i despise because both of those characters are straight up better than my duck hunt doge

Actually didn't get that much lag on For Glory for once, so I played around 30 matches as Villager, 5ish for Ludwig/Bowser Jr.

I played like 5 sets on anthers ladders yesterday and faced a dope ass pikachu. Also a pac man that is always a lot of fun MU woth duck hunt.

Anyone got some Villager tips?

I'm working in my gimping (knocking them off of the stage at a low health, and removing their recovery in the process so that they fall to their death.)

If you fail at gimping then they can punish you, so try not to do it too much.

Also I don't know how much you're using the slingshot, but you should be using it. A lot.

Also use the tree for blocking projectiles and stuff.

Dropping a bowling ball of the edge is a good kill way and kills at like 65%. The slingshot is a good gimping tool also.

Gimping fail is not exactly an easy punish but if you miss its bad. Also i dare you I DOUBLE DOG DARE YOU too try blocking projectiles with trees. My clay pigion and cowboy dont give a **** about the tree.

I finally got my adapter, but I don't think I'll actually use it until Friday (not because I'm too addicted to MH4 or anything... heh). Once I get used to this game if anyone wants to play I'm always looking for a challenge.

I entered a Smash Tournament on this other forums site I've been using. It's going to be double elimination, 3-stock, and will have 32 participants. Since there will be no items or custom gear I think I'll be all right. Although, if someone on here is willing to battle me so I can practice that would be nice.

If you see a Pikachu giving you no chance to touch the ground, thats me ;)

We must battle sometime. I went ahead and tried some For Glory 1v1 matches and my W/L was 26/6. I can really only fully use Marth and Lucina (same thing) at the moment though. Those For Glory matches are pretty tough!

I will inform you when I go get my pad back. He lives 2 hours away from me otherwise I woulda got it by now 😔

OH MY LORD i just experienced and witnessed the worst tournament ever. So i am at a anime con today and they are having a legacy tourny, basically each round you play is one of the smash games and its 4 rounds and you play a new one every time. So what happened was this was supposed to start at 8. They closed down the game room at 7 to set up for 30 minutes. 1 hour and 20 minutes later they open it so we can play, i get in there, go over to melee stands to see THERES NO ****ING MEMORY CARD. So nothing is unlocked, luckly i foresaw this happening, so i bought a memory card with everything unlocked on it. I asked, theres no memory cards i have one, do you want to borrow it? They said no, i asked why, they said it was unfair to have everything unlocked. UNFAIR ***** WTF, melee has been out for over 10 years now, thats more than enough time to learn the essentals. Oh boy, then they had absolutley NOTHING and I mean NOTHING unlocked for all the games, wolf for brawl? nope, capt falcon for n64? nope. Jigs and Marth for Melee? NOpe **** yall you get nothing. At this point i went up there said this is ****, im not participating, please remove me. They did and I went ahead and left and went to play cards against humanity. After it ended i went there to play some smash 3ds cause everythings unlocked. I looked at the brackets. All the winners on the N64 were foxs, Melee was all fox, brawl all meta knight of course, and smash4 was diddy and shiek. I looked at the losers brackets then. The winners of those, all foxes and pikachus for n64, all foxs for melee, all meta knight for brawl, and actually a good amount of variaty for smash4. NEVER ever EVER enter a tourny at any con that is not a smash bros con or video game con.

I keep getting some of the same replays when I bet on people. What gives? I also thought we were betting on live matches, but I guess that's not the case.

EDIT: I'm sorry, but I must complain about the team color change in the For Fun Team Smash matches. My sister and I were playing and right next to our names it said we were red team so I changed my outfit to red. Then when the game starts we're blue... It kept switching colors and over again. It also confused us when it showed we were let's say, the blue team, in the practice loading screen and when the game started we were red.
