I don't like when Destiny is compared to Borderlands. Borderlands got old for me pretty fast.
P.S. I still haven't played it yet. I've been getting all my work done now so I have more time. |
Yeah same here.
Really, all that was left to do after the main story ended was farm legendaries and play DLCs... Hopefully there's more too it than that in the new Borderlands coming out. |
Destiny is like borderlands though? Lmao
I hate shotgun users bee tee dubs |
I like how playstation has it's own section of its support page for Destiny not even a day after release, lmao

Amazon finally shipped my copy.
Guess that's what I get for choosing free shipping. Ah well, at least I get to miss the annoying server issues. Quote:

Btw when your playing and need a hand, check these pages out, I think they may be useful:

Haven't bought the full game yet, but I really did enjoy the beta.
I only have a few complaints, and the one that really bothers me is the social feature imo. They need to add an easier way to chat with random players and to join a fireteam, whether you're in a planet or the tower. The only way to talk to people is to party up with them. Not to mention you need to go through the whole console's interface process (PS4) just to send the request. It's troublesome if you just want to do missions with randoms or just to socialize in general. As for the bosses, I do feel that they have a lot unnecessary amount of health and very limited move-sets. Overall I think it's a really fun and enjoyable experience, especially with friends. Playing solo feels really dull for me, so I really hope they'll implement some chat features. |
I worked my butt off to get my college work done for the week earlier and on my way home to pick up the game, there's a tornado warning labeled extreme in our area. I don't think I will ever be able to play this game.

I bought the game for 360 off my friend for 40 bucks, I wasn't planning on buying it but I figured for 40 why not, if I dont like it I can probably break even at gamestop.
This is game is straight up generic Sci-Fi FPS with RPG elements built in. It gives me the same feeling as playing a nameless MMORPG. I'm also not feeling that kind of humorous clever heartwarming Bungie vibe I felt in the Halos. Not to invalidate my opinion so far, but I've only played for a couple hours, I'm going to play out my money's worth so I'll see if my thoughts change... |
I finally got it. I was actually unaware that this game requires internet which is a little disappointing. I haven't really played much because the power keeps going on and off in my house disabling Internet and giving my Xbox 360 the red ring temporarily. It's one thing after another. I have tomorrow off so I'll finally be able to get some time into it.

I love the game, it's got a ton of playability to it and the campaign is pretty cool as well. It just doesn't have that same Halo feel to it though. When they made Halo they probably set bars higher than they'll ever be able to reach again. But, it just doesn't feel like a bungie creation. Aside from that though the game is brilliant. I love the PvP and such. I haven't gotten too far into the game but I see it being a title that I'm going to be playing a lot of. Overall, I'd give the game a 9/10. It's not a "must have" game is it's still pretty damn fun and I do recommend it.

Beat the game. Low life right?

Ugh I just can't get into it and I have been playing for six hours. I know this has been said, but I have played way too much borderlands and halo for me to get into it even with all the amazing ablities. Just my opinion.
