I don't see why there wasn't a 3-5 recolor limit either, seems reasonable. Now the guy who sent in 3 recolors of his hat is going to be buttsore because another guy had 8 recolors of his hat accepted, "Wahhh, I could have had more." Just seems like it was easily avoidable if outlined a little better.


I feel like Leah could privately tell people like Teacup why her hats were denied though? I mean, she took the time to make and submit them. The least the GATA could do is reply back with feedback or an explanation, takes 3 minutes. I get you can't do that for everyone, but at least for those who seem to have submitted quality work or a high number of pieces.

what i'm thinking is maybe there were too many hats that were submitted into one category, coughcutecough, so that's why many weren't accepted, regardless of the quality?

Hi. I'd like to apologise for the inconvenience caused by our error. You have now been given the other hats which were approved, since it's only fair as others have received their full collections. Issues surrounding the recolours or minor edits of hats as multiple submissions will be discussed by staff involved to avoid any inconsistencies in the future.

Teacup Dolly's submissions are unrelated to this matter, but have now also been addressed. All gifts are finalised as they can now be opened, so no changes or extra submissions can take place. Some of these submissions gathered positive feedback from people, even graphics admins, so I think an explanation is the least they can do if they're going to reject it.
And for a beginner like myself it would be great to gather feedback from a primary source so I can improve next year

Because that is what criticism is? How the **** is it fair for someone to spend hours on end making different hats and then trying to tweak, re-shade, shade some more then re color or redesign them AND not receive any reason as to why their submission was accepted.

When it comes to hypocrites you're right up there buddy, You love to complain about **** that does not go your way as well.
