I think it's funny as a joke, but I really wouldn't want to see him as a fighter. I voted for Toon Zelda without realizing it was an official poll. I would have put more thought into it.

The real answer though is Banjo Kazooie and I think one of the guys from Microsoft tweeted that it would be possible.

Please for the love of god no. If anyone deserves to comeback its snake. He would also do really good in smash4 since he is a strong zoning character with offensive capabilities. Banjo kazooie is just going to be a duck hunt clone. I guarantee it.

If you've played Banjo Kazooie or Banjo Tooie you'd know there's enough moves in those games that the developers of Smash wouldn't have to go too far out of the original game to make a moveset for the duo.

Not really sure why this assertion gained any traction... maybe because they're both animals and both duos? But if that's all you're looking at and ignoring both of the game franchises, then you're just limiting yourself creatively.

its because of nostalgia, thats why its so popular. I never liked the banjo kazoo games much and I really do not want more dumb cartoony characters like banjo, duck hunt, toon link etc. While these characters are great and bring in a lot of goofy game play styles and trolololo moments, they don't really get the hype flowing. Also smash 4 is a massive gimmicky game with customs on. But the serious fighters who have a background of being in a fighting type game. Like fox or captan falcon (not a fighting game but still brings a ton of hype) I voted bayonetta, they censored out snakes move set and have it still be boss. They can easily censor out gimmicks on Bayonetta like the losing clothes. Also smash 4 really needs more aggressive options and rush down players as theres only 2 viable rush down characters, captain falcon and sanic.

I don't see why anyone has to come back, as this is a chance for new and original characters to come into the game.

Because 99% of new comers will be based off the scratched character and theres rarely a new one (brawl lucario = mewtwo, lucina = roy, dr mario = melee mario, lucas = ness) the only original newcomers that were unique and original are from melee, peach, ganon, marth, jigs, ice climbers, falco, bowser, zelda, shiek, and more from melee, in brawl it was sonic, snake, zss, broken knight, DDD, etc. in smash 4 its duck hunt, rosaluma, etc. also as brawl proved, you cant give alternatives to players as its just not the same as the real deal (lucario vs mewtwo). So bringing back players fills up that one nitch of unique gameplay that was lost because they weren't in the game and its very hard to replicate it. Also the smash4 meta is still in its infancy. Theres still a lot of changes that can be made and a lot of charaters powers we have not fully tapped into yet and see the potential in them so theres no point of bringing in more characters to learn how to combat and instead give vets who we know how to combat.

no more op diddy, holy **** i bodied a good pre patch diddy so hard today. Then he started joining to me, a duck hunt main about how diddy can't kill for **** anymore. He kills easier than ****ing duck hunt. Duck hunt makes me so god damn salty because i know i should have won when one of my kill moves hit at 150% and they don't die.

I'm definitely impressed with how Mewtwo plays other then his double jump. I heard there was a leak of Roy and Ryu's sound files being found or something? I guess I'd be okay with Roy if they change his playstyle to be more unique. I would have definitely loved to have him regardless if they changed him, but that would make 3 Fire Emblem clones. As for Ryu, I don't want him in the game.

If you want to reduce FG lag i reccomend using anthers ladder (www.smashladder.com). Basically you exchange friend codes and matches there are 99% of the time people who want to improve so they are nearby there routers and the lag there is usually a lot less. You will probably be stomped on over there though. Im also trying to set up a graalians matchmaking room there so we can live chat and play.

I almost switched from Marth to Lucina, but then I realized I can't abandon my bby. I don't care about tiers, but holy crap is Marth low on that one Japanese tier list. He's like D- and Lucina is an E. I do pretty well as him except against projectile/grab spammers.

What why would you Think about a switch from marth to lucina? Marth is far far far superior to lucina. Also marth is low on tier list in japan cause no one uses him. Dealing with spammers is ez with marth. Approach with SHFF fair and SPACE YOURSELF FOR THE TIP OF THE SWORD.

Japanese players rate Street Fighter tiers differently than other scenes but their pros still lose to Westerners, just saying.

I'm going to have to agree with this. I main Marth and I can't believe how hard he can be to face with him only being out for such a short time. I can't imagine how good he'd be if someone mastered him. When I use him I feel like the attacks can be a little OP. Then again, he is a heavy character and his reflect attack seems worse than Marth's so he does have some weak points.
