Genesect wasn't ban-worthy when all people used was his standard Scarf set (which was decent, but definitely not Ubers-worthy), but since people started mixing it up with different sets like Life Orb, Shift Gear Phys, Shift Gear Special, and Expert Belt it was too versatile to play against. I still don't think it's Ubers material. It's kind of like the Gen 5 Hydreigon of Gen 6.

Won't miss Lucario, but I don't think he was too ban-worthy either. Perhaps he was a little too strong for OU but I doubt he'll say any use in Ubers. He's just in an awkward spot. Hard-checked by Genesect and Landorus-T, hard-walled by Aegislash (who's #2 in usage). Oh well. Can't say I didn't expect it.
