This happened to me, when i had a speech mark it put a comma at the end of it. If your talking of the full stop then that is grammatically correct.

Either can be used. Doesn't is does not, whereas don't is do not.

Doesn't is used for singular stuff, E.g Tom doesn't matter, Personality doesn't matter, a stat doesn't matter.
