Yeah seriously. My friend is a good smash player, but him playing roy just makes it so hard to beat him. Seeing that roy's TITLS kill past 100%. I really like him as a character, but the amount of sheer power he has is crazy.

I played a Roy online once and holy crud was he strong. Not that I'm complaining (mostly because I won lol), but they make good opponents if you want to improve imo.

i mean they just teach you to try and avoid their op moves

roy is not getting nerfed. Roy awards bad spacing with his sweetspots being the hilt of his sword. His approach options are awful, he gets ****ted on all over on by zoners (seriously the MU for roy vs duck hunt is around 70/30 in DHDs favor). Roy still has a wet noodle sword still as his tilts at the tip are terrible and don't kill till like 150 at the edge of smashville. Only thing that might get a nerf is his neutral B since that move is a frame trap and is impossible to punish as you recover in 2 frames.


Theres only two character s that need nerfs and thats shieks frame data (for those who dont know all her attacks are very very safe on shields) and luma needs a massive nerf on rosalina (basically take away the jab when rosa is grabbed since that is rosas neutral game. HP deductions to like 40, respawn times longer).
One global nerf needed is recoverys. Stuff like foxs side B or shieks down B that help you recover but dont send you into a freefall state should only be able to be used once in the air that way they can actually be gimped.

Seeing stuff like this makes me giggle as a Roy main.

He really is. I'd say his only downs are his recovery and reflect attack being harder to use. I'd be using him right now as one of my mains if I didn't think this.

He is great up until he faces zoning characters. Hell at a tournament i went to last weekend i 6 stocked a roy on stream. He over hyped, B+ character at most.

Looks like another Shulk to me to be honest (in terms of fighting, not abilities).

Seems to be interesting, but he moves a bit similarly to Shulk, and when I saw the move showcases, it really did remind me of Shulk in a way.

His design and the way he is drawn throws me off for some reason. He looks out of place when compared to the other smash characters (small head, face, shrunk down to size, etc.)

Okay so I bought the smash game awhile back, played it on my 3ds. Cool. Very Cool. My 3ds got a big black scratch across it, so on Black Friday I went out shopping (of course) for a New Nintendo 3ds XL. Got it in Red, my favorite color btw. Anyway, if I were to play the smash game that I'd already have played on my old 3ds on my New 3ds XL, would I be able to unlock dlc characters like Ryu, Lucas, or Mewto for free now? Or will I still have to pay for them.

It depends on whether you have your previous data from your 3DS transferred onto your New 3DS XL I think. Did a big black cat scratched your old 3DS screen or something? o_o
