Several teams haven't had all of their members warped in during GST, or had a member get warped out mid match. This is shaping up to be a bad one.

Rufus isn't staff anymore. They should be able to hire some admins who aren't his friend that can run this tournament.

at least you have a rematch lol we had to 4v5 because one of us lagged out. Admin said "no redo's are allowed." It was a bad idea thinking I could finally do a gst to have fun without trying to compete.

There is. There is jimbo from the walking dead that excessive lag without getting DQ. And then there was someone lagging in Daughter vs Birthright that got their rematch. I smell favoritism here. Maybe set some rules or guidelines so admins would allow rematch for someone lagging out.

I could understand if no redo for someone lagged out in middle of a GS, but it is pretty obvious he lagged out before the match even started. It makes completely no sense for him to disconnect intentionally before the match even started. Someone lagging out in the middle of a GS is a different story from lagging out before it even started.

I gotta say I agree with this. He clearly never was able to even move if he was warped into the spar at all. I'm sure hosting these is a tough job for Admins who usually don't do this sort of thing, but I would think the right thing to do would be that the Admin notices one of the teams is missing a player/a player is frozen and ends the round quickly so the other team has no reason to complain.

Though if he got dced in the middle of a round, then yeah, he's just sol.

There were several matches I liked while watching this GST. For example in R2 or R1 can't remember Elysian vs Headphones whereas one member of Headphones got a double kill in 1 hit and it pretty much was the best move of the match to tie it 1-1. They went on to win that match. Another was Entity vs Matrix whereas it was 1-1 and the leader of Matrix clutched it against 3 Entity members.

Honestly, even just some consistency would go a long way.

Don't give a redo in one case of someone disconnecting and not give it in another. Get the admins on the same page so they all clearly know the criteria (e.g. a player not moving at start of match/dcing without moving = redo) and apply them consistently.

All trolling aside...Good Job to all the teams that participated...This was a great and intense GST we saw a few surprises. Good Job to all admins on the mixed side that hosted my matches e.g. Nathan, Marshmellow and Crono it was smoothly hosted.

It needs to be the case though to be honest, GST is what keeps a lot of players coming back to Graal even after they stop playing (2nd time since I came back that Ares has been online was for GST today and a lot of other players also rarely log on until It's time to prepare for GST - you guys are another prime example).

As you said, ruining the fun factor with inconsistent rulings and stuff is just going to leave a sour taste in people's mouths and stop some of these players from returning every season.

I feel bad for you guys and for the other teams who had issues with players at the start of matches. Also for the one team who I heard actually won 2-1 but then randomly got forced to redo. Like, what??
