Is metagross still viable? It's now double weak to both dark and ghost.

I still see Metagross around but there isn't really a good reason to use him anymore. Countered and checked by a lot of potent threats like Smogonbird, Aegislash and Bisharp. Its Meteor Mash is still good for killing Fairies, but... Scizor and Excadrill.

Those were pretty much what I expected, especially from Aegislash. That thing is a monster if you can predict right.

Wailord was so much better in the gen 3 games...

I bet. He didn't do too well even though I gave him the best IVs and Nature as well as EV trained him.

I love going against Aegislash if the team I'm using has a Bisharp. If I think I can outpredict it, I can set up SD while it King Shield's and sweep. Even if I hit it with Knock Off during its King's Shield, Bisharp's Defiant ability boosts his Attack right back up so there's no risk fighting it. IIRC Dread Plate Knock Off is a guaranteed KO on 252 HP / 0 Def which is what most Aegis run.

You want the hardest check to Aegislash in the game? Bisharp.
