My concern is the same I had playing Mario Kart on my 3DS... wearing down the analog :(

I have the normal 3DS. It probably is a lot better on the XL. The screen just seems a little tiny for something like Smash Bros. Also, like Dusty said with the analog stick issue. Will there be cross-play with the 3DS and Wii U?

Apparently you can use the 3DS as a controller for the Wii U. Although that would just be a downgrade : P You can also transfer your character's progress to the Wii U version (I'm guessing that means custom moves). But yeah, no crossplay though.

What a giant design flaw on nintendos behalf. Stuff like this really hurts marketing value and company dependability, which isn't going to help nintedos recent marketing losses at all

I can't really make a roster until I've played all the characters first. Marth is definitely up there though.

Here's my roster, I'm excited to try many of the new characters because of how mega man and the villager play in the demo. I should probably research all their franchises though, I'm not sure what Robin and Sheiks' stories are.

Just from the demo Villager seems crazy powerful. Great recovery, basic attacks, ranged attacks, everything really. The final smash is the only weak point (though it seems like it would also be strong in the hands of an experienced player) but the villager's ability to cancel out some other final smashes makes up for this fact.
