This has just been turned into a giant bitch fest, and it's seriously got no reason to keep on going. Gunderak and Downsider have both made great contributions to the community by coding these applications, but it's not helping anybody by going at each other like children. Gunderak already has an automatic updating system, so there's no need for him to use this thread to post update links. Downsider can use his thread to post updates. Now, do us all a favour and grow up.

This is pathetic. I'll make an HTML5 gani viewer by the end of the day.

You sir, aren't a nice guy.

That said, his intentions weren't spiteful (apart from the aforementioned putdown), regardless of his lack of tact, he was trying to advance a project that would help the community.
I think this has been blown out of proportion, let's just chill and be pleased with the progression of the software.

And Java FTW.

Gunderak 07-14-2012 04:14 PM

Emera the automated update system only applies for the windows standalone.
The java one is way of that, I'm not too stood with java.
And I'd have to admit I did get a bit carried away at raging at DS.
Meurr.

I can't use it. Dx I'm very interested in using this tool. However, it brings up an error. :(

Any of you not playing PC graal and wanting to see what heads/bodies look like before you upload them?
Well I have the soloution.
I call it Graal Viewer.
https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net...18640880_n.jpg
It allows you to view combinations before you upload them.
It's mainly useful for iEra and iClassic players.
Anyway it can be found here.
To use it, simply drag a head or body on to it.
Tomorrow if I have time I will be adding hats to it too, then shields.
If you spot any bugs or have suggestions, please do leave a reply :)
Side-note, transparencies do have to be set in advance, other was it will look a bit funny ;)
-Enjoy (hopefully)

Update Again!
Added hats.
Note for some odd reason you have to have a head and body set before setting a hat.
I plan on fixing this.
If you want the hats version re download it.
https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net...16918761_n.jpg
Next is shields.
If you would like to check up on the apps progress, I will be starting a page and it will be available here.

Why cant i download and install it?? O.o

And Java FTW.

Makes me giggle a bit.

Gunderak 07-18-2012 11:11 PM

For anyone that is getting errors, do you have the C++ Redistributables?
Also screenshotting the errors and posting might help.

I would love a mac version.

BboyEatsbacon 08-18-2012 05:56 AM

I don't think Gundy has a Mac, so it would be hard to trial his builds of a Mac port.

I just SSH, switch the head I want with the one I use. Works great, but your method, is, awesome!

Gunderak 08-21-2012 07:49 AM

Why thankyou.
And Bboy, I am making a java version so I don't need a mac to test since java in its self is it's on OS sort of thing, more of a VM, so it's universal.
And speaking of the java version, sorry for the delays, I have been busy.
I should go do some work on it now :D

Gunderak 08-27-2012 11:04 AM

Fixed, Updated the domain and whatnot, moved it to my own.
The new url is welikebacon.com/GraalViewer
:)
If you have a previous version please proceed to manually download the newer version.
