Well it's summer in North America soon, probably the only time we're gonna see 500 people online for more than a few hours, it's your best chance to prove this game is more than just crappy basing meta and more fun in its content :)

AND to be honest I'm seeing more and more people playing Zone, whether it's a growing fan base or just because some other factor it's a bad day to call Zone ‘dead’

This thread is essentially 97% ex-staff talking crap about a game they all have experience in. As another staff member can I just point out that Classic hasn't been fun either in about 3 years? But it works. Why? Instead of typing stuff about how it might work better, the community on Classic takes initiative. Like Ivy once said that we needed more furniture. So she made some... that we never used(thanks Tash). Mad reps.

You don't need power to make a difference. Hate the combat system? Go make a spreadsheet and actually code for what you think would work and submit it. Trust me, Z did something similar way before he was ever hired on era and it's one of the big reasons he was picked later that year.

Obviously nobody wants to do this extra work for nothing. Obviously nobody wants to just be rejected when they do attempt. But we do need to attempt.

It's great that people care enough to actually hold this conversation. There was a huge period when this subforum would get 1-2 views a day. But typing suggestions and complaints is about as useful as me writing a letter to the President.

Taco Bell loves to be flamboyant and do all these publicity stuff but when they're down, and they have been for a while now, you don't see them trying to fix the things they currently have out. Na. Like I said before. Zone isn't dead. Lambda said it too. We on the come-up. But we get no recognition since we don't have the player base which makes money. And don't just put out cash grabs like auctions or rushed updates. Like make actual good items and fix the game. Remember how Classic was on a recession before Pyrat Bay Quest was added? For the next month it boomed. Do something like that nebs. Literally hundreds of good ideas are on this forum. Read them. Now learn how to program and attempt. Or make out concept art.

depends on what you are trying to do. If you are trying to balance alone, no not hard, as long as you know time to kill balance your fine. If your trying to rehaul guns entirely, then it's ****ing hard.

Most tier 1 weapon is unbalance.
Some tier 2 weapons aren't well set correct.
tier 3 weapons flaw out tier 2 weapons and 1 weapons.
Auction weapons skip tier 4 and 5 almost.

Also all he did was buff weapons he used, then says it's hard. please really .-.

I hate tier bull ****. Graal's not ****ing COD, so don't act like it. Graal's a simple game. Era's a mess because they continue trying to outdo previous guns and make their entire combat system so complicated. Classic is pristine because everything is overly simplified to the point of perfection practically. Weapons should be fairly similar in stats, with lower-end guns obviously, while not having any single gun being the "go-to" gun. All the "best" guns should have pretty much the same stats, with maybe the slightest alteration. Keep it simple. People don't play Graal to have to go hardcore into gun statistics.

Cod doesn't really have a tier weapon system. It's all just pay to win now.

John wtf are you talkig about lol, no tier of weapons are made to flaw anything, if you can't beat someone regardless of the gun theyre using then its that you can't fight, anyone can take on a railgun with a beamer if they know how to fight. And saying that i buffed weapons for myself is absurd

did the balance team forget to balance gatling guns or are gatling guns the weapons they mainly used?

for something with low fire rate it sure has some high attack power, but like geno said it's still managable to defeat them. :blush:

I liked PKing when any gun actually could take on any other gun. Not this garbage that anyone can say "an er beamer can take on rail." Well of course it can, but it doesn't. That's like saying an ant could kill a person. I mean, it's possible but you can't just say that and sound intelligent. PK was nice when all guns actually were competitive. When love rifle & metallic rifle were the best guns (imo) but didn't dominate by any means.
