If you tried adding a mod to your list that means they wouldn't be able to see your posts, and if they can't see your posts (not you specifically just in general) then they can't do their job, to moderate!

Pretty sure ignoring is a one way street. I don't know for sure whether you can or can't ignore mods but if you can't, it's probably to ensure that you see announcements and updates.

Actually the 's vs ' is pretty debatable. It's up to the writer to decide depending on the circumstances. The only thing that's really important is consistency.
