On the last season of Hunter x Hunter. for me to rate this show fairly, it really should be split into two shows: the first half of the series, and the "Chimera Ant" arc, the latter of which i REALLY wish i could burn out of my memory and pretend it never happened (like how I do with SAO's ALO arc). HxH truly deserves a 10/10 for all the previous arcs, but the chimera ant arc was just so ****ing awful.

it took a long time for me to even get over the fact that they are ants. ANTS. that can essentially mutate into other talking animals, instantly build up a civilization, and instantly learn how to use nen and be stonger than hunters. Right when i was able to accept the ****ing ******ed concept, i started enjoying it; there was a ton of build up to the Hunters' infiltration to the king's palace. Nearly a whole season was dedicated to the Royal Guard battles, which added up to less than an hour in their time with all the recap and slo-mo, and several things happening at same time. But all the battles were a huge waste, none of the Royal Guards were even affected by their efforts. okay Netero's 100-hand gold statue was legit; but after the bomb explosion, when the 2 royal guards revived the king by feeding him most of their body mass (and turning into annoying chibis), i raged. Not long after that i was throwing fits of rage again when Gon transformed into essentially a super saiyan to beat Pitou's skull in. That battle was literally all I was looking forward to, and they had to go and way over-exaggerate it.
Going to throw a hissy fit if this last arc isnt good.

Well it does explain that the ants use the genetic material of animals they have eaten to evolve and become better than the animals they have eaten. They became such a powerful force because of there human + animal hybrids they created (imagine a man who had the strength of a bull and how powerfull and useful he would be in the real world). I do agree that some parts where slow but when you have so many events going on inside the palace it was better for the viewer to learn about it a little slower. The royal guards where overpowered as hell due to them being as a result from a build up of nen users eaten by the queen. The revival was a wierd episode but was still important. Now theres Gon's transformation, it isn't some super sayian power up, it's basicly Gon using his childhood, his innocence and his overall character to give himself a power up that would have killed him most definitely and the last arc has some of the most spine chilling scenes ive ever witnessed

Another kirito flaw is when he goes easy on girls in the virtual world. He should go all out.

I tried the first episode of Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Bladeworks without realizing it was 40 minutes long. I really liked it aside from the ugly light brown school uniforms the students where. The animation is top notch.

EDIT: I thought I wouldn't like the Alfheim second half of this season, but it's actually enjoyable.

Still think Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis and Fate/StayNight Unlimted Blade Works are better but Parasyte is excellent though (well so far anyways)

I know all that; but I absolutely hated the concept of it. I would have been okay with oversized ants. I would have put up with talking animals. But not ants that super-evolved to look more like every other animal in the world than ants and instantly developed nen powers.

Aside from the cameo during the Buu Saga where he was shown in hell with his father, Ginyus, and Cell, yes.
