Way more than a 'few' people would have this hat because it is something that anyone can achieve and it is not a limited time item therefore having it does make anyone seem more important than anyone else.

Although, it'd be fun to have it as a sign of dominance over the noobs who suck and can't get one.

A lot can change in 5 months and unless you analyzed the spar community within that time frame you have no basis to state that it did not die down, whereas Thallen and the numerous other spar people in this thread have been seeing the community on a daily basis and can easily tell whether it is dying or not.

I'm an active sparrer myself, and I see no need for this. Especially since the guy who is proposing the idea is just doing it to have more hats, which, is completely fine with me, but he should just say he's just proposing the hats to be brought back because he wants more hats.

because I constantly wear all 12 of my GST and tower hats (nope)
because I rush into a mad dash to immediately put out hats when I finish a tower guild (Glyph took 6 months, Unreal still doesn't have theirs because I care so little about it)
because I haven't posted in the constant threads where people complain about the quality of GST hats telling them it isn't a big deal (while having won them for a year straight now)

Really Thallen. Really. Please tell me why you want this so terribly bad. What benefit will it have? You having more hats to add to your collection? What is the point of this thread? Why does the sparring community need to be active? Why? What is the reason behind this? It's not like the community is absolutely dead. It's not. And even if it was, why would you need to stir up more activity? Please give me a valid reason as to why the community needs to be active.

Here's what's gonna happen if this is added: Hat prizes will be released, for one week all the role-players from Graal city will be in the Battle Arena, after a week there will be three different threads complaining about the quality of the hats, and then everything will go back to the way it was and the only people who will be sparring will be the same people who were there in the first place, with the exception of one or two people who migrated from the Burger Refuge to the Battle Arena.

hahaha, people disagree with your idea and give valid reasons as to why they don't agree, you call people mad because they don't agree with you, etc.

As I read through this thread, the only thing you say when someone disagrees with you is that "they're angry that they aren't gonna get a hat and they're gonna be jealous because have something they don't".

I have seen some sparrers on this thread who have disagreed with the idea and yet they would probably automatically get a hat if this was implemented.

Can you think of anything else other than "you'll be jealous" to back up your argument? If you can't, then it's a poor argument to begin with.
