I find it dumb when people get carried to a higher rank. When you play you will suck. Rank is nothing if you don't have the skill for that place.

I only sometimes play on weekends so not that good at it but just reached LE after 191 competitive wins (I normally just played for fun using weapons like Dual Berettas since I don't actively play)

Brother reached LEM and I'll probably start getting into it soon and pushing for Global Elite but I got lucky with teams a lot so will probably be a while before I reach that skill level

So true, I hate seeing people with 0 game sense that are at global or have **** aim, just doesn't make sense for people like that to be at such high ranks. Then again I shouldn't really be able to drop 30+ kills every game, but ever since that 1 VAC wave a few months ago ranking up is literally a joke.

I agree with all of you, I'm basically just scamming them. It's kind of funny when they scream "OMG I RANKED UP" because I know they're lacking in skill and will have close to no chance of maintaining that rank. ez moneys

there are a lot of smarter players out there that already know boost = you're gonna get ****ed. the thing is that if you're **** and play with good friends, and if you're the type of player who actually gets good at games and isn't a scrub, then you will absorb a lot of the high level strats around you including the subtle stuff.

for example when i started dota 2 i played with very high tier friends and was basically able to quickly skip past the medium-high tier and went straight to competitive level pubs.

Maybe if valve adds in a freaking 5v5 mode instead of casual that's like competitive but without the ranking system then people can actually practice instead of getting boosted or playing casual which doesn't help as much.

No, you're missing my point lol. Let's take league for example, they have a Normal & a Ranked queue, if cs:go had the normal queue but as a 5v5 and not the casual mess it is now then people could actually play with their friends that are lower ranked without having to smurf etc.

you will smurf either way. In CSGO you cant really make a real game set since it takes time to learn how some guns work and when to click the mouse or not.

How the system is now it is better.
