Comparing Reddit to 4chan is like comparing Mac to Windows, respectively.

There's clearly cancer on both sites, as well as facebook, 9gag, tumblr, imgur, but there's also little pockets of golden material. Reddit tries it's best to filter this, 4chan has no filter, and with FB and tumblr it depends who you're following/liked. There's always gonna be **** on both sites, and always gonna be fantastic OC on both sites. As for the website layout itself, I'm gonna have to go with 4chan. Simplistic.

I'm going with 4chan, it's just what i've always browsed.

Reddit is the best social news hub on the internet. 4chan is very unique and even though the content is often controversial and stupid, I am constantly entertained by it. Even met one or two people that I talk to on a daily basis from /soc/ or /b/, sadly enough.

Both communities are a huge ********** though.
