I agree 100% these brave soldiers risked their lives to give us the freedom we have today. Bless them.

They shall be remembered.

If we give one place a holiday for a stupid war all the players from different areas will also want f
Stuff for their stupid holiday.

Precisely what I think. I also think most people don't actually care so much as to what the day signifies but rather use it as an opportunity to get another "limited edition" item which can later be bargained off to some noob for something much nicer.

Items shouldn't need to be made for such holidays....

A poppy wouldn't be hard at all to make or distribute for free. A small tiny flower is not asking much don't see a big deal.

Jester Lapse 11-11-2012 08:20 AM

If you really care about those people giving their lives, then celebrate it in real life and not a game. Seems a bit weak that you'd consider getting a pixel item as "remembering"

The thing about the November 11th holiday is that we remember all army members of Britian around the world from all wars. We all wear poppies on this day to respect everyone who has died for their country. We celebrate on the November 11th because n this day WW1 ended on the 11/11/1911 at 11:11 am. This is why we remember. It's the only time I see Britian be truely patriot. At 11:11 there is normally a minute of silence around the country, I've seen cars stop and they just respect everyone. I'm going to be marching with the army later, a poppie in era or classic isnt a hard thing to ask for the British players.

Everyone always forgets that the australians and new zealands were in the war too -.-" without us you wouldnt of won Aimens at the western front

musical 11-11-2012 09:37 AM

Yeah well as I said FREE poppy that isn't droppable... When it's time for the 2 minute silence I won't even be on this game. It was just an idea, thanks for your opinions

Higbey 11-11-2012 12:32 PM

We give one stupid war something, then all the other places want something for their stupid wars.

Holidays that are not the major seasonal ones should not be in the game.

musical 11-11-2012 12:53 PM

Higbey, piss off been disrespectful its not a "stupid war thing" if they didn't put their lives out for us the world would not be the same as today. Stop ****ing forum sucking just for attention. Your pathetic.

Then I want midsummer from Sweden to be added into Graal. In Sweden we celebrate midsummer by dancing around a "midsommarstång", also called "midsummer's pole".

Can be found here, midsummer

musical 11-11-2012 01:13 PM

How has dancing around a pole have any relation to people dying for your country. Piss off

You people must be so immature.

irony levels are off the charts.

Every war is a stupid war. There is no such thing as a wise war. Not on earth at least.

You want a item on a game for your holiday, like a virtual poppy will actually do anything, then go and say that his holiday with the pole shouldn't have any recognition in game.

No holidays other than the major seasonal ones should be recognized in game.

Yeah, because if you do regional holidays, people get upset that their regional holidays are not celebrated.

MementoJoker 11-11-2012 02:05 PM

Dafuq's a poppy? I don't think this should be celebreated in game, this is very stupid.
Next Thursday a smartass will want items for the Islamic New Year.
