Why did we bring them back? Most people I knew supported the rid of 1k hats
|
Because they didn't have any idea of what the generic item was going to be, but put it in news anyway..

little kiddies will keep wasting their parents credit cards on hats and other crap, boycotts wont work, there is nothing they can do, especially in this case where the "popular" players support putting an end to guild hats and stopping hat monkey guilds |

But when staff put an END to it (hat chasing), isn't it the staffs job to LISTEN to the players? So if they take the 1k reward away and people complain we'll have to somehow comprise. |
You should only be able to get one 1k Hat. This would solve all problems. End of story.

What about a little mod tower trophy that you can hold up like a Gani for a generic item? I'd say to at least have the first 30 guilds currently on the leader board to keep their hats as a token of actually earning it when actually meant something. Then the other guilds who reached 1k could have their hat replaced with the trophy. The 30 guilds would not get the trophy (unless they were apart of another guild that reached 1k but isn't a part of the top 30), and if they wanted to get one they would have to either go for 1k on another guild or 5k on their own. The guilds who recieved the trophy would have to reach 5k to earn their hats again. I know already a whole lot of people would absolutely hate and rage at this but something really needs to be done. But with that I believe there should also be future revisions to towers in general so that it would be more fun for everyone. Like, adding ghosts to Deadwood to serve as a protection (or offense). Baddy NPCs attacking the castle, slimes hip-hopping around and whatnot. Maybe even go so far to make useable cannons for Yorkton? That'd be really fun.

Lets say we have a guild called John. John gets 1k hours and recieves a hat WOOP WOOP! John influences a new generation of hat chasers and a new guild called Jerry arises. Jerry gets 1k hours and recieves a hat WOOP WOOP! Jerry influences a new generation of hat chasers and a new guild called Bob arises. 3 hat chasing guilds later... Liz GETS 1K HOURS RECIEVES A HAT WOOP WOOP! THE HAT REPRODUCTION SYSTEM! |

Or what we could do is make a small guild, recruit a few high statted players. Sell the guild for a large amount of money. Buy it back, for the same price + a little more. Advertise your high price guild so people would join. Steal from hat chasers. Make shady deals involving buying out the dead hat chasing guilds. Revive them. Use the, at your disposal. Put only trust worthy people in charge of them, loyal to an order you've established. Even get staff to join your order. Have those who defect or oppose silenced with planted evidence. Continue to branch out your secrecy into other secrets. Start cliches in guilds using your people that would eventually cause "drama" and ruin them. All while running a multifarm system that keeps you and your allies rich, and those beneath you silent so long as they maintain their part. Don't forget to wage wars with guilds you already control on one another and to have everyone swear into secrecy.
Good plan, no? :D or we could just get rid of hat chasers the boring way >.< Graal conspiracy sounds much more fun. |
