Bumping this thread to post about a Korean movie that I just watched. It's called The Man from Nowhere and I think it has earned its way to one of my top movies of all time. It has a standard 'child stolen, baddass goes to find it' storyline, but it is so much better than Taken. It has a great style and the visuals and action are awesome. I watched it with subtitles instead of the dub (which was terrible) but I really really really recommend it to those that don't mind that sort of thing. Seriously.

Inception

A River Runs Through It

October Sky

Perfect Storm

Independence Day

I don't get a lot of time to go out and see new releases so...

For me I'd say it's a 3way tie:
Deathnote
Deathnote II:the last name
And deathnote III:l change the world

I love that film lol. Robert De Nero as Al Capone was a genius idea. Still isn't as good as the Godfather or Scarface though in my opinion.

Ghettoicedtea 11-21-2013 12:04 AM

no but the baby buggy shootout scene was the best.

Mount 11-21-2013 01:27 AM

Jurassic Park, King Kong, Indiana Jones, hmm
