I was originally born in Russia, but live in the United States. I personally do not like it here, the media is just a bunch of celebrities with butt implants. But when isn't the media useless? Haha. The main reason I dont like America is there is a lot of crap going around right now about how the scandals are arising in the Government and I honestly don't trust it. But I like visiting the County I was born in, and enjoy the culture a lot more. When I last visited I got to see President Putin give a speech, granted, my father had to translate but it was still a great experience. I would much rather have Russia listed as my home country, rather than America.

I've always lived in the United States. It's a good place; I feel safe and secure, and I have my friends and like where I live. On the other hand, however, I think that the current government has glaring faults and think that the stereotype of many Americans being conceited, ignorant, and uncaring about what doesn't immediately concern them is sadly accurate. It's a good place, though, founded on strong principles, and I like to think it has the ability to rectify itself.
I have a lot of nationalism and pride for Great Britain, though, specifically England. I've always appreciated England's culture and the idea of a smaller, more centralized nation. A part of me wouldn't mind living there if it wasn't so far from my family and friends at home. |

I live in Australia right now, and it's good. It's a whole lot bigger than New Zealand, where I come from. A lot of people here though are really loud and obnoxious, especially in tight spaces. (Example- the number of people I heard at Brisbane airport today complaining loudly about tiny things that has gone wrong with their flights). I don't like them. But I have a lot of friends here, which I like. Another thing I don't like is how politics is just a huge popularity contest between the leaders of the parties. On the news, I hear barely anything about the actual ministers and individual policies - it's all just about the leaders. That's a lot different to New Zealand, where the parties themselves are more the focus. I would happily move back to New Zealand, especially in summer when it's too hot, and the rainy season, when it's hot and unbearably humid. It'd be hard to leave all my friends behind again, but I'd still do it. |
i was born in france, i now currently live in australia, and yes i do like it mainly because of the freedom.

Rule Britannia.
But yeah Britain is a really nice place with plenty of culture and whatnot. It is also a stable country as it's quite rare that something really bad happens. |
I love the United States in general and I love how nice everyone is here. The main thing I like about Texas is it's "Do it yourself" attitude, a mindset that most places don't have. The thing I hate most about the United States is how deeply embedded religon is. Saying you're an atheist is even worse than saying you're gay here. When a person finds out they usually view you like you're just "different" or an "outsider". I really wish religion wasn't such a serious part of our culture, its incredibly annoying. Stuff like that should just be more personal.
