Well, I wouldn't say that there would be any "moves". The way I want it is more along the lines of Sega's Virtua Figter. No fireballs or gravity defying roundhouses, just punch, kick, and headbutt, all of which must be used strategically and skillfully to ensure your opponent is the first to lose all their stamina and get knocked out.

It would be great to level up skill for it such as stamina and power.

your crazy right? Everyone knows what happens to these things in era, the playerbase wander out to go peek at whats new then go back to start and it all becomes a deserted wasteland

The only reason areas like this don't see much activity after a while is because they're pointless. I'm assuming you mean areas like the PK arena, or certain areas that play a minimal role on the server. Think, if you had this entire new way of fighting, but people would rather fill you with lead, would you still want to fight with your fists? It's just like how sparrers use arenas meant for their unique form of combat rather than fighting in the street where people could intervene at any waking moment. I'm sure people would make use of it.

I'm not sure. Boxing was popular for a few days and this is a similar system.

How does one compar a lackluster melee spar to a completely new way of fighting? For one thing it's street fighting. You don't do it in any arena. And it's an idea intended to improve the useless fists and turn it into a system of knocking someone out with not only punches, but kicks and headbutts also, all set up so that one must fight in a strategic manner. You really should read the OP before comparing it to boxing spar.

I did read the OP. Boxing is fist fighting and so is street fighting or at least it is a component of it.

The why the heck did you compare it to boxing spar? It's obvious that it and my idea barely anything in common. Boxing is nothing more than a lame melee spar, my idea could quite possibly gather up a new kind of player. We have basers, sparrers, and PKers, and with this we'd have an entire section of the playerbase that focuses on this.

The thing is that tht brass knuckles are pretty expensive and what if you were new to the game, so I think the idea of a fist fighting style is an amazing idea

Boxing involves punching, yes? Street fighting involves punching, yes? Nothing in common at all. People had a chance to use a melee only area and it didn't work so why would this work?

LOL those are NOT expensive, 2.4K in era is not that much cash. Also its the best deal you can get for weapons, you get a incredibly fast melee with a low freeze (these kickass in bush race), and 7 damage. Brass knuckles can easily last you up until you get a EC melee.

street fighting is a way different style of fighting. In standard boxing you can't kick, grab, hit below the belt, etc. Theres no rules in street fighting, you pull any dirty trick you can.

But in terms of gameplay if this was added, it would be very similar.
