I hate the GST. Players who mainly spar have given a bad name for themselves. The way I look at it most of them are arrogant assholes who ignore everything you say. It's really why I don't bother attending unless in getting paid to.

I find the opposite. I've met friends, become closer to people, and had great times with both people who mainly spar and people who do not thanks to the GST. About 90% of the people I know will talk and answer anyone who talks to them, because there really is just no reason to ignore people. They are all really friendly and honest people! I feel like this post was written with a select few players in mind who tend to have bad attitudes more than half the time you interact with them. While people like this exist, there are so many more who fit the description of a good friend. I also believe that the GST shouldn't be blamed for the way some people act negatively.

We've obviously played very different Graal games. I go to the Battle Arena and all everyone does is be an asshole. They are very arrogant and think they are amazing simply because they have wasted their lives away tapping a button on a virtual game. I've not once met a nice sparrer and I honestly mean that.

I hate to say it, but iHot's description is more accurate NOAWDAYS. I ignore because I don't feel like typing at all on an iPad... Heh

GST isn't rigged, US loses, they also have members kicked for being laggy. I personally think it would be nice if an admin could walk out into the field where everyone can see and explain why they restart some rounds, but they do restart some rounds to be fair. I actually wish GST took a little longer also, to give a little more time before each match for teams to get all their players ready.

I can find someone in the main spar that's pretty cocky, but not every day. I don't think sore losers are something specific to sparring either.

I did feel like I had to endure a lot of pc hate before the majority of the server got over that.

Back onto the topic of this tread, what Clops says is 99.99% accurate.

Clops hit the nail right on the head on all subjects. I do want to put emphasis on one fact he pointed out; Arrogance is not limited to, and should not only be associated with, sparring.

Perhaps our experiences differ. From the sounds of it, I can guess you probably haven't met me or any of my friends, though. :(
