IMO ppl should have to earn the hats themselves and not just be handed a hat by a friend. This is why I'm against hat chasing,and believe they should change the towering reward system.

There would also be the issue of ppl winning with 1 account and "donating" the hat to their second account. This wouldn't allow for more ppl to get hats,but for abuse so I say no to donating hats.

It may be true that there have been fewer events throughout the day lately, but event frequency is not something that is regulated. Staff don't have a quota, nor are they limited to a specific number of events for a given amount of time. Personally, I try to host one event every day, but it all comes down to how much free time a staff member has and how well the server is under-control.

Classic has had a significant playercount boost lately, and that means a lot more reports and general shenanigans. If there aren't very many staff members online, doing an event can increase the amount of player-related issues on the server; one event can put the staff member out of commission for a decent amount of time, having to sift through several hundred PMs, answering questions and looking for anything important.

In summary, events have been more difficult to host recently unless several GPs are online. Yesterday we had quite a few. Maybe some of you saw the "Mega Event"? :)

When was this "Mega Event"? I always miss everything.

Well that makes sense, because you would know that there already is a CTF if you did.

I'd also really like to see Bot Events on Classic. Not everyone gets to play in Administrative Events, due to the fact of not knowing where, PK, etc. And they aren't hosted very often like I've stated, causing boredom.

Bot Events could benefit Classic in so many ways, it could automatically be hosted every 15-30 minutes. Including events like Sumo, Freezetag, CTF, Bush Race, Survivor, and other Admin hosted events.

Events could cost anywhere between 15-40 gralats. I usually don't spend my gralats very often, but if Bot Events were added, I'd be blowing 1k everyday.

The prize could be like Zone and Era, 100-300 gralats. Nothing too major due to the fact it's purpose is to have fun, not get large prizes.

Goodness gracious! It's like you know who I am! Maybe you were particularly bad at CTF and I was a bit sour towards you for sucking so much?

I like ctf as a break from the monotony of towering,but the problem is with how its set up and it being unbalanced do to ppl jumping in and out of ctf all the time making the teams un even.

I like Twisted's idea bot run events with smaller gralat rewards with the normal admin hosted hat prize events thrown in every so often.
