It's really awesome, but I just hate how theirs a section dedicated to events. There's other stuff going on as well that we might miss in the big block of posts on the main section.

Of course :p There are a few cosmetic changes and functionality changes that need doing but that is life with incremental development.

I think that the forums is great and I enjoy them, but as PD said there is room for improvement.

There is a lot of room for improvement. :) Currently these forums are in Beta phase (Testing). We are asking for opinions on what we can add and what we can change about them. So if you have any ideas let us know. We already have a few things that we are going to change.

Few ideas of mine to improve the In-Game forums:

Alliance Forums- Just like the squad forum section but for the entire alliance. What good is a squad forum if our allies cant see them?

Player rights-All players should be able to edit/delete their posts and threads. Close/open threads as well. They should also be able to 'quote' other players just like on here and emotes should also be added :) <-- like that

Moderators/Administrators-Of course... We need some mature and responsible people to keep our new forums clean and spam-free.

Hirings section- Imo only administrators should be able to make threads in this part of the forums. There is no reason for regular users and players to post job hirings here. Go to craigslist or something lol.

More Sections- Atm we only have 'Main', 'Events,'Hirings', and your squad forums if you have a squad. I think we should have more sections to reduce the spam in each section and make it easier to scroll down.

Deletion of Threads & other improvements-I think threads should be deleted after about a 3 days if no one has posted on it. The timer for it would restart if someone made a post. Spammers that just want to keep the thread alive would be dealt with by mods & admins. Also, recent posts should be the organization system for it. Not the time the thread was made. This means that the threads that people are actually talking on should be first on the list. That way ppl dont have to scroll all the way down a dead thread list to get to an active thread. I also noticed that theres a character limit for each post. I think there should be a character amount notifier (Ex. 257/400 characters used)

All i can think of right now :D ill post again if i can think of anything else.

Just like normal forums moderators control the topics and threads. We aren't going to allow players to close threads. Deleting their own post I agree with. We wont be able to add 'quote' players because there is a limit on how much can be typed in per post. (We believe this is an issue with Graal itself.)

From my point of view these are some ideas:

- Moderators/Staff would have a different coloured name so you can tell who they are.
- A section called 'My Squads' where all the forums for the squads you are in will pop up, plus an alliance forum maybe.
- when clicking on a section it would be in order of the latest post, so the newer/popular threads are at the top for people to see.
- I also think there should be a thread deletion thing that deletes a thread after 2-3 days.

Okay, here it goes.--- Note: These are just visual appearances I drew up quickly. Just realized pictures were sideways, sorry.

Here I just basically edited the overall look to give it a better appearance. Instead of just font, I put the player's Icon face to the left (furthest left is their name in smaller font) and removed the name that usually gets cut off. I also added a "Next Page" button, which takes you to threads that are farther back (10 threads per page). Also, I added a New Topic Button instead of the previous one.

Here I edited the actual Thread Conversations. Underneath the icon would be their amount of posts, and reputation points (Like Graalians), and just added a few word edits. I also made the Moderators (Staff) names gold and with the tag of (Moderator).

Removed the "Main" section, because I believe it's too vague, making the threads random. Added sections for Off-Topic Chat, General Zone Discussion, and Future Improvements. Also added a scroller for easier scrolling, and removal of accidental pressings.

Here's an example of what a Profile would look like if you pressed the particular Member, or Profile button. Friends are underlined so you can press on that, and see their friends.

lol. i turned my head at least 10 times. I like the redesign though. looks great and itd be cool if it looked like that.
