Wait, Swamptown Fort always required a guild tag... Access was never removed, it was meant to be a guild activity and therefore upheld a requirement to be part of a team to participate. Been like this since 2010... And honestly, I thought a few others were like this as well. The entire guild fort system is taken advantage of in so many ways that I doubt it even matters anymore... Which brings up the reason why this thread was created.

My memory honestly isn't the most reliable so I couldn't say. I know I attacked Snowtown's fort without a guild tag awhile ago which I believe is another tower mentioned in this thread that is locked to guild tags only. I don't see a big problem with this since it only costs 2,000 Gralats to make a guild and attack towers.

Taking the flag and PKing. The two things you can do. I do not group them as one because:

PK
-Purpose: To kill other players.
-Involves a single player acting on his/her own accord.
-The tower is a good place for PKers because of the amount of players gathered in one place as well as being able to take advantage of the chaos.

Althought thats good information, thats the same thing as I said before, so is there really nothing else but those two..

There are plenty of people begging to recruit people to their guilds. Joining one really isn't that hard. In all seriousness who doesn't have a guild tag? I think the limited access should be left the way it is. There are other towers you can go to that are better for PK if your really hate wearing a tag much.

Well that would make sense. It just somehow also came off as a bit of "we want to have more freedoms" or something to me. Which I wasn't really fond of considering I was brought up to believe it was a guild activity, and should filter out those simply looking to pick fights or annoy the guild something. I guess with very little PKing on the overworld, it would make sense to grant that freedom if the server does desire it. No harm done, don't worry. :)

^yes. I find the guards annoying and cause lag as well. Sometimes it seems like you lag alot and take few minutes to get in the castle while other times it seems like you get right through.

You have very good points here,and I completely agree with them. Towering is supposed to be a guild activity but its very often interrupted by pkers and a few random curious noobs. I can see the pkers side to saying that the best pking is at towers normally because that's where there are usually more steady concentration of groups of people.

I have never really been a fan of pking as you don't really get anything out of it. And its some what annoying to me when your trying to take a tower and you have to fight off defenders and pkers at the same time making it even harder. Like she says its a group activity and I think it should be kept as such.

You guys are angry because you can't enter a tower as noob? These poor innocent noobs entering towers ang getting killed from other noobs protecting their tower...
Why is(or was) MoD a pk tower? Because everyone can enter it.

The goal was to put players curious and not leaving the game until they explore everything and at the end, the players stay playing.

Since they allow players to go in the towers being the only 1 on tag to pk with no real intention of taking the tower or hitting the flag then IMO it shouldn't matter if your on a tag or not. anyways I thought all towers but york required a guild tag? That's how it should be IMO. If you go with my idea posted above at all towers except York then you would still be leaving the 1 tower as a place for people to pk and removing pkers from the other towers for the most part.
