Did you read any other posts on this thread aside from your own? The gun wasn't nerfed. On npc's guns always do 1 less damage.

Dude... Water gun was not nerfed... Simply put..It's 5 dmg like it always was on NPCs and 6 dmg on players.

NPC --> Base Damage
Players --> +1 Damage when gun is perfect shape.

Simple.

Now, I specifically remember the BASE damage being 6, and +1 would make it 7. An old website shows evidence

No. That website is false. Machete is not even 7 damage, it's 8. Water was always 6 on human players. They are unique guns hence why the damage so low. Stop this debate. It's 6 on humans and thats that.
