Bandit chests, purple chests, and diving all share the same items. However, bandit chests dropped from bandit leaders have a higher chance of rewarding a rarer piece of loot.

I started with no loot, got exclamation points/loot 36 times, and still not a single egg from looting. Is there some sort of trick to this???

last year it took me 14 hours
if you're curious about how much time/effort it'll take, this year it took me around 8 hours, 900 baddy kills, 312 looted junk, probably ~700ish bombs

I personally wouldn't recommend looting
if I had to redo it, I'd start on the cliff to the left of Sardon's roof to get all of the buried/spawning eggs, then I'd bomb grass in guild house, then I'd finish off grinding the Bandits for hours because they drop a lot of different kids of eggs and it's just more efficient than looting from my experience
when I'm left with 3-5 I can't obtain, I'd start trading for them

just kill them and they'll randomly drop

You can get egg #21 by throwing gralats in the fountain

After all this time an hard work its sad to see people who can't get one or two eggs nit get anything for dedication :/

I HAVE BEEN LOOTING FOR FOUR ****ING HOURS AND ONLY HAVE ONE EGG. THIS IS ****ING BS, I HAVE BEEN LOOTING AROUND THE WHOLE MAP WITH 6 EGGS LEFT AND I CANT EVEN FIND ONE ****ING EGG BY DIVING. THIS IS SO BROKEN.
