You're half-missing the point of why this is trash but also half-right. The problem with this is that it's just another thing that makes Zone like Era. As it stands, there's nothing really unique to Zone anymore aside from 360 shooting and a different skin with sounds. Everything else is the same:

Housing with similar systems and purposes
Trading done in the exact same manner (Now)
Buying money

This is off the top of my head. What made Zone special was that you had to work to earn everything. You couldn't get things handed to you. You had to kill people; LOTS of people because they normally only had 1-20 bounty, so it took a while. With the revival of Zone in the name of iZone, it has lots of potential to set itself apart and be unique. Be Zone. Make us proud and all that jazz, but no. Instead Stefan had to make it an exact duplicate of Er with minor differences.

I wouldn't expect Zone to code and produce their own trading system and idea!

I don't care too much about this update. Imo it doesn't really change much, if anything, besides appease some of the players that wouldn't shut up about how much they needed trading in zone. I'd think that some sort of trade GUI different from Era's would be cooler, but I guess its more efficient if its more public.

And can someone explain why it is so damn awful that we used something that Era has? I mean come on, this has been asked for since the introduction of the in-game forums. People even specifically asked for "Trade Tables, like on era"... I mean really, please explain how it hurts the game that we have a building that has content from era in it. Seems like every update is somehow traced back to Era, even when not a lick of the idea has anything to do with Era.

Zone can be played on Facebook... It's just like Era!

People who said that obviously came from Era and have very little imagination. Hey, I wanted Trading. But using an exact replica of Era's trading system is just unoriginal. We are playing Zone for Zone, not for some knock off of Era.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Zone needs scripters. We are lacking people in thepat department. I think we have just the managers, but I'm not sure.

Okay, Zone now has trading tables, which is good, a game is much better when there is trading involved. However, I can understand what players are saying on the other side of the fence as well, how this makes the game more similar to Era (trade tables, couldn't have coined a better more futuristic name for them? :/) So I really really hope now Zone strays away from responding to the 'Do this like Era has' etc comments and produce it's own content. I mean come on, it's in the future in space, the sky isn't even the limit, it's higher than that!
