Thousands of BKs were boosted at the water in York, but who cares? It's a leaderboard, it only means anything if you care about it. It's the same as when you could spar at Sardon's and other places, and when you could PK in houses. Even tower hours are a hugely skewed and ruined statistic (due to the FB merge). I didn't manage to get in on any of that, but why should I care? Just deal with it.

The thing is, we can't DO anything about the boosted stats. There is no way to determine who boosted and who didn't, and how much they actually boosted.

The only resolution would be to just reset everyone, and that's not going to happen.

Also, since this boosting is no longer taking place(hopefully, and if it is we CAN find them now and reset their kills) it's no longer a factor. If anything the other players may not know who is legit or not and it gives them a goal to pass. Eventually as time passes these stats will be normalized as the legit values catch up.

Just numbers, if anyone legitimately gets buttsore that there's a new leaderboard that does not negatively affect them in any way then wowzers
That's what sucks about this community, people get mad when things happen that make other people happy or makes them feel important (reference the term "hat chaser" as example numero uno)

I like being #1 and winning stuff probably more than anyone on this game and even I really don't care if this or that was boosted or if someone is shown as a top rank for something they did or did not "earn," just have fun
The way the spar, PK, and BK boards are structured encourages activity and that's more important than anything else

I agree with everything you've said in this thread, but weren't you a bit annoyed when (I think eko?) and others exploited a spar bug that allowed them to get well over 9k spar rating?

My only complaint is now theres no space between the links to the scoreboards, so you accidentally tap the wrong one. And theres no way to space out profiles either.

I was, because it was a blatant exploitation and nothing was being done about it

I'm not saying that staff and others shouldn't do everything possibile to decrease the possibility of leaderboard boosting, but there's nothing to do now about the people who sat in York's water some months ago so you just have to let it go

Need to have a Crono leaderboard.

Then we would need a Frog, ROBO, Magus, and Lucca leaderboard too ! :P
