I don't have a phone, and I have Yahoo.

Stick with whatever the heck you want. Not Google, they suck.

Stick with yahoo

My Yahoo got hacked a couple years ago. I think it was because I had a Top Contributer title on Yahoo Answers and someone decided they wanted it...

Either way I hate Yahoo...only my grandma uses that shet.

Google got hacked and it doesn't know how to defend your account. So it may be king in searching but it isn't in Emails

I edited my reply sorry.
But yeah actually Google is better in my opinion. Gmail is nice and simple plus it syncs with my Galaxy.

/logic.

OT: People get hacked all the time, it's no surprise somebody who searched hard enough found a loophole in the system.

No point blaming companies, twas going to happen sooner or later.

Google didn't get hacked. A bunch of websites that require your email address got hacked. So really you don't have to worry if you don't use your email password for everything.

CluTch 09-12-2014 02:36 AM

It has happened. GG

I like Gmail over Yahoo. The only reason why I use Yahoo is because my address is just my name.

It kinda strikes me as odd that the isleaked website was registered two days before the incident. I'm not putting my email in there. Who knows, it might be a huge advertising scheme.

Plus, google locked out all leaked accounts. There is no need to enter your email on these sites. Google already locked all leaked accounts, so you'll know by logging in.

yeah, I won't speculate if it is or isn't a site that was made in 100% good faith, but just as a rule of thumb (as someone who has worked in internet/affiliate marketing) I don't think it's a smart idea to ever submit your email in any form like this

one, you never know if it's some coreg feed that is going to put you on some email list without confirmation
two, you are now privately submitting your email to at least one website as potentially insecure, which could in itself lead to some security concerns

Just change your password and add the auth not hard to do. Not sure why this post is still going...
