Some people can't help if they lag. It's annoying when people think I do it on purpose to win when I actually just have an old router

The reason I don't play graal at work is becuse I have to use a VPN and I don't want to be banned

there are legit uses for VPNs, like this on other games, like League of Legends, you can even find a VPN that will make you ping less due to it having a better route to the server but in 99% of cases, it's used for nothing good |

Speed hackers are seen once in a blue moon for me, and I don't really leave the Battle Arena. I just kind of avoid them and report if needed. Usually someone else beats me to it. Don't even get started on "VPN users", that phrase has been given a new context and become the new flavor of the year on iClassic.. 90ms is a rediculously strict limit, especially considering the game is offered to a mobile market and mobile devices will almost certainly experience ping jitter far above the average due to the nature of wireless connections. Aside from increased speed, none of these occurrences are considered "cheating" (in my book, anyway). The spread of the idea of these thoughts can be viewed as toxic, however. Thus, people begin calling for a thread to close. :) |
Close the thread pls

lazy to read but realistically if there is ever a lag cap it should be placed around the 300-350ms area. and @ goat's quote, of course people would use a term i randomly make up. i mean, they already stole everything else from me: my looks, my swords, my backup looks, my backup swords, my attitude, my confidence, the list goes on and on... but they cant steal my gst members, my sparring style, or my personality because i just got too much going on.
but anyways lets just call excessive laggers "sarahs" im sure this will stick relatively easily. and in response to the first post here: i realize that the spar community has become extremely trashy compared to how it used to be. if you dont want to spar someone with ridiculous lag, just leave them alone. nobody can harass you for avoiding them because realistically, nobody enjoys sparring these people. if someone is speedhacking, that should only inconvenience you for one spar unless you keep joining and bring that upon yourself. i dont really see any speedhackers anymore besides that guy who used to go by wick (SmR). idk what his name is these days but i believe his guild is (earthian)? no idea. basically, if something is annoying you in spar, don't spar them. |
To me september was speedhack month
I found people who managed to obtain nukeshot idk how but they nuked gs found some guy that walked so fast I was getting a headache Speedhacking is no longer really an issue october had people using a hack that made a green select sprite (like when you use furniture) apear out of nowere and distract sparers Our curent issue is delay, i was sparring some guy with like 80h this noob delayed so much I havent seen so much delay in a verry long time . he beat me and said I had terrible stats Im guessing my stats are the way they are because I never give up against any sparer |
None of this changes the fact that none of the things listed are considered cheating. Can't stop any of it.
Ping limit won't work, inhibits entire regions of the world from playing Graal (that's a big nono for those who don't realize), so if there was one it would have to be set so ridiculously high that the only people it stops are those who lag so bad they can't even see anything. |
blind graalians :(
