Well this is currently happening for Christmas.

The product is not new, the model may be, but the product in general will have already been sold at the store, if a store sells Object A, they will order newer version of Object A to sell, they will not start selling Object B just because of the sale day.

I'm not complaining, I like the new mounts and they look way better than their original colors (rhino looks so awesome with that armor). Also, they're pretty cheap, 20k for a 2p mount is a great deal in my opinion, it's a lot better than paying 40k for it. They're also really good for farming, wombat is really fast for horse races, the black versions look pretty cool, and overall they're great. I've been wanting to buy one and I wasn't sure if I wanted to spend so much money on one, but then I saw the black wombat being sold for 37.5k (in comparison to 70k, which is it's normal price) and bought it immediately.

I know, the point I was trying to make was that it would be handy for constant updates. Might as well use all the resources available. There's plenty of players with the skills to contribute useful work for the server.



iPhone is a product, 5th gen/6th gen are models, so the product is new, but the model will most likely be an old model.
