why would you even want to disadvantage yourself by lagging anyway

I don't need VPN, my flag changed to American because when I logged on VIA FB, I had to do so from an unidentified account = for anyone who hasn't already noticed, the flags glitch out and show all of them until you relog. I'm Australian, there hasn't been 1 day that I've been under 300ms. I don't see why everyone would want to lag, it doesn't make spar fun, but for people like me there isn't a choice. If I was given the option to have 0 lag but for everyone else to be laggy, I wouldn't need to think twice

I dont spar, but iv sparred on zone and its alot different, still people lag, whats the deal?
Not their fault they have crappy wifi. Deal with it, learn to accept that she beats you.

Ask anyone who has talked/skyped me while I have sparred. My own lag annoys me more than vsing someone else who lags does. I'd rather be able to hit people without the need to spam and try to predict where I should hit so they run into it, it takes away the fun. Ask someone else who has the same troubles as me, like Sarah, I'm sure if she was offered 0 lag but to vs lag she would take it without hesitation

I just saw cally and jigsaw talking about how they use VPNs and alternate devices to spar. Screenshots coming soon.

every time you see her spar, you'll notice an alternate account is also in the spar arena - this is her secondary account, on a secondary device

she uses one device to connect through an extremely laggy VPN (by my experience in spars with her, I'd estimate around 800-1200ms on average)
she spars on this account, and then she watches the screen on her secondary device (the alternate account) - this is what allows her to delay like hell, yet still spar very responsively as if she has no delay at all, somehow knowing exactly where you are

I know pretty well how delay works and how to spar against it, but I was pretty confused when I sparred her a few weeks ago and saw how her delay behaved - assumed she was hacking in some way
this is definitely what she has been doing though, this is the 3rd or 4th time I've noticed random noob accounts following her around and "watching" her spar

I'll record proof if I see it again, but I doubt she'll do it around me and I know she reads these forums

Why would I be encouraging you to post screenshots if I had a guilty conscience? I've never spoken to Jigsaw lol, show me a way of recording my screen without jailbreak and I'll gladly show you what it's like for me when I spar at times when my wifi is both good and at it's worst. Just like most people in this community, you are making assumptions based off of no evidence (other than the fact I have a bad connection) and then being too stubborn to admit that you're wrong

Don't waste your time, friend. He isn't a representation of what iClassic's sparring community is like. Very few on these forums are, actually. Spar threads are actively stalked by sad people like this. Their sole purpose is to try to derail these threads and I suspect it's because they are bad at sparring and very angsty about it. It's unfortunate, but very easy to avoid.

i'm assuming the phrase "double devicer" comes from someone using VPN on one of there accounts, and having another account not connected to VPN watching the spar, so you always know where to swing.
