You are asking the wrong question-- not why they have not been released, but removed.

why? what would these areas really add.

New NPCs,buildings,areas to explore and just maybe... A new quest.Like half of the map has revoked access.Would definitely be fun if they got it all back.

Pretty sure none of these things are added, until players start getting bored and then BOOM new update (adds MoD town). Players get on more, exploring, after a few months get bored BOOM new update (adds blob). Same thing again BOOM (adds new island through ship, which I don't remember the name of since they might just change it either way like they did to my precious belle island). Imagine if they added new content every month... the server wouldn't be able to handle a constant 4,000+ players and rising. People would complain about the lag, Unimad won't be able to keep up with better server demands and everything collapses.

Just a possibility of why they don't add new stuff. It makes people stay on the game longer, because of the wait and enjoy the new content much more than they should. Hence to releasing new content every month, and people getting overwhelmed by too many updates, that they don't have time to do everything that gets released.

Also, these past few updates have been pretty high quality for graal.
Good non-rushed content is better than Rushed decent content.

That content doesn't just poof into existence. None of the old content for those areas is actually usable, or really all that great. Everything needs to be reimagined, redone, and tested. Most of the old content was boring/lackluster/not suitable for iClassic's design. For example, there were no "jobs." Also most of the content back then were "player houses." Just a ton of empty/pointless filler houses.

I was actually thinking about this too.I'm sure our dev and artist community would definitely like to help you people.There are loads of awesome scripters and gfx artists here on graalians.You could ask them for help.

You are probably right.I just don't understand one thing...why would Unimax not want a high count on the game that pays him.

I have a suggestion here.it's been suggested before but..meh!
There should be a blog or some website where the admins request the community to make something like a hat or somethingThen they chose the best of them all and upload it to graal.
This is going to increase the quality of Classic manifold.

He is working on setting up a new server somewhere.But,someone like a representative of him should at least keep us updated with it.We don't know when it's gonna happen or even happen.

You could have some kind of specific scripting/graphics contest thread... rewards and stuff. That could be cool.

Oh wait, they had the art gallery. That was real cool but got removed just like honor points... old deadwood... that random mausoleum that looked like it was bound to be awesome... many things.

New areas get old after about a week. Id rather them just open CTF or some sort of event area.

new areas do get boring thats why they need a meaning.
You need the area to be on the map and have a tower and many shops with unique items
and the shops update once in a while.
big city has no tower which is why it is so deserted

Wouldn't be surprising to have a "hat gallery" of the oldest hats of Classic displayed since that's what the people want. With that said might as well sell them for 50K+ Gralats to see who's willing to buy it.
