I could say you selective sparred on you 1000-65 spar account, but he selective sparred better than you. @Hikaru

I didn't selective spar at least not after I got my 2nd loss, so I guess he did do it better. I made my account 2 years ago. He used hacks though, so that's another thing :P
Planned to go 1000-10, It started off with 88-1 (2013 I did selective spar), then I lost to some delayer and and gave up. Came back when I got better, and ended up with 210-22 (Fought in all rooms). Didn't even have a 10:1 ratio. I gave up and came back a few months later when I got better.
Got 10:1 back at 410-40 (2014). Left the account, because I didn't like taking every spar too seriously.
By this time I won 2 gsts with main, and still felt underrated (teammates) forcing me to continue my very annoying account. Got it to 610-48, didn't want to continue, left it for a few months, by now it's 2015.
April 2015, Had my account at 700-56. Didn't feel like continuing, but I was thinking of switching over so I sparred for 3 days. Only when the server wasn't lagging, so 8 am - 12 am pst. Monday 100-4 (800-60, felt like it wasn't worth getting up for an account, but I might as well finish what I started), Wednesday 100-0 (900-60, felt good about that day, and wanted to finish it off tomorrow), Thursday 100-6 (Didn't get the results I wanted in the end, but eh). By the time I saw how good I could get my ratio to, 1000-10 (since my router turns off sometimes, flash goes unstable, or some delayer has the craziest delay ever) if I don't rush for every game. I don't like that though, too boring and waste of time.
How did I do it without selective sparring? I stayed back a ton, when match started I had to check the person's flag to know if they were going to delay or not. Either way idc about that account, it's worthless to me. Was only something I made to see how well I could do. Would have wanted to make a new account, but I have an event hat, and anniversary mount on that account, so didn't want to start over.
Moral of the story is don't make an account with dream stats. I always think of leaving my main, and end up not doing that. But I always want to, since I don't spar as actively as I used to, and it feels like a retirement account.
