If someone has money to burn, then sure.

Someone on a budget on the other-hand should just buy the 2nd newest version of certain products, specifically ipads and iphones, because most of the time it's just a tab bit faster, and doesn't make a huuuuge difference.

I switched from an ipad 2 to the ipad air 2, that's a 6 year difference... The change was somewhat big, but nothing incredibly mind-blowing.

Had to upgrade, because certain things like controllers and apps wouldn't work on my tablet, and had to refund them.
