The change was still highly unnecessary.

It is actually a very necessary change. Even with the change people can still make way too much money too easily.

How is nerfing jobs a necessary change? Never knew making money was a bad thing. You guys remove bugs and change the rate and deem it as necessary. Lol ok.

Is it really this hard to understand? Easy money in game means no incentive to buy gralat packs = makes no money = server is removed.

wow somebody who understand how things work. its not just about gralat packs tho its about how easy it is for anybody to buy whatever they want without putting in much work to get it. whats the fun in a game where you don't have to work hard to get stuff? there is no sense of accomplishment there.

Bugs are not removed. just less common. bug hunting was never meant to be a main source of income. its meant to be more like trash picking in era. you see a bug you catch it. yes the changes are more necessary than you think.

I understand that. But you need to balance the line of making sure you get profit at a decent rate so it's not too easy yet not to the point where the server feels P2W. Era nerfed their jobs multiple times and you see mostly everyone calling that server P2W. Not too long before West ends up like that.

Well, i hope they release new guns.. I'm done seeing no guns, i want stronger guns. You guys can't expect people to not have loads of cash, if you guys don't release anything to spend it on. Release better guns, who cares about the price.

TomatoPanda 11-20-2015 01:08 AM

It seems like all the staff does is buff fishing and nerf mining and woodcutting if any job needs buffed it's woodcutting or there needs to be another tree between spiky and fossil. fire making needs redone its pointless when you can eat food every 5 seconds mining I agree it did need nerfed a little bit. There needs to be a type of chest or something for woodcutting and mining also like how's there's sea chest for fishing

(I obviously see the staff team hasnt checked oasis in a long time cause if they had they would see its abandoned. )

It actually mostly depends on the graphics team and gani team, gun admins just take care of the stats and such and then they'd have to wait for witch to approve release

It was only a matter of time before this happened. The prices of sellables might drop soon

Nibbles 11-21-2015 02:46 PM

Might as well quit.

The reason many players left Classic and Era, and such other servers was due to almost being forced to buy gralat packs for literally every new content that was being released.
I do not wish this to happen to Ol'West.
I understand why it is somewhat necessary for you to do it, as it allows the server to remain running, as it gains a profit.
But. Becoming like Classic and Era would most likely result in a great deal of player-loss, Ol'West is like an escape from such servers, and to become similar would not be a great idea.
I think nerfing mining and woodcutting was a reasonable things to do, but do not nerf anything further, unless you can explain a legitemate reason for doing so.
Also im not very familiar with the fishing job, but im very assured that it allows you to gain quite a lot of gralats, especially the added bonus of beeing able to get chests, and selling the rare melees for even more gralats, so I would suggest that if you nerf two jobs, you nerf them all, and make sure they are all equal.
Bug catching is fine, as it is only a side-job, not quite a huge job, as it was nerfed awhile back, same with such things as looting and panning, so my only real concern is fishing, unless I am incorrect, as I said, I am not entirely familiar with the job.

Oh and also, some people will be feeling like this, if you continue:
