Only when they have been frozen for more than 3-4 seconds, and they start catching up to where they are on their device, on your screen it would look like an insane speed boost, but that would drop down to normal speed afterwards.

In your video the person was consistently speeding, so it wasn't his lag.

Okay sounds about right, thank you for your answer.

You can always confirm someone is speeding by the speed that their sword swings
Hacking your process speed with [deez nuts] speeds up everything, and he is moving and swinging his sword way too fast

Thank you for telling me, hope this kid gets a lesson from this.

He might be from pinoy, looks like lag

Lets just name the hacking tool so more players can use it!

It's a combination of Lag and Speed hacking

Thallen 11-29-2015 10:56 AM

Ya, I guess I shouldn't have named it, but I'm sure everyone knows and anyone who doesn't can find out in a matter of seconds using Google

That's exactly how I've always been able to tell as well, watched the video and that was the clear speeding for me.

Really? I always thought the entire point of ganis was to load the animation clientside so that it didn't bog the server down with each sprite iteration (i.e. the sword would look the same on your end but faster on their end).

You could literally see lag was involved, yes he may of also hacked but it was clearly lagging too.

Wickodd 11-30-2015 03:47 AM

I think it's obvious that he was moving faster than normal. I'm hoping Thallen's post and the quotes of it doesn't give others any ideas. I saw someone moving faster than normal in the side rooms, and when Xanji walked in by chance the person stopped moving as fast when they sparred.

Of course, I could be mistaken, but it's pretty easy to tell when someone's moving at a faster speed than another positive sparrer. Especially when they start moving normal again in a different spar.

typical laggers usually:
run fast and freeze in between or after
run slower than me
behind the time = they stay in arena for +-5 more seconds after the match

whole clip was a mess me trying to imitate his steps, but there's a part where i and he both run in straight line at the top. he was about 1.5x faster than me.
