I wish more people would understand that regardless of how much you dislike the system or how things like bans and all that work, talking about it here isn't going to change anything.

I understand the whole wanting to vent your problems and stuff somewhere, but pretty much what you're doing is aimlessly complaining into a pit of nothing and expecting something.

This is also the reason why talking about bans and problems in-game isn't something that should be done here, Graalians can not change or fix any of that. I mean yeah, Graalians is for discussing Graal but it just sucks how a lot of it is about stuff that we can't really change or help with and it just reeks pointless negativity(that some people even blame us for).

You guys also have to understand that Toonslab deals with a lot of tickets, often tickets that are most likely dumb and a waste of time, it would be too time consuming to be typing out a wide variety of replies that can often be summarized in one or two sentences and after dealing with so many it's probably going to take a toll on the people handling them and some mistakes are going to be made, they're still humans not robots. Just try sending in a ticket at a later date.

Also Bryan, I think even though the timer was resetting you will still be unbanned at the proper time it's probably just a bug/glitch that was/is causing it to reset. If it really is resetting the timer completely for you and others then they would most likely know about it and fix it.

Maybe they wouldn't be getting so many tickets if toonslab didnt ban everyone for 2000 hours for saying a bad word

I've gotten real responses from toonslab everytime I've written, which is 3 times or so, but still.

They don't seem to give you a C/P answer unless you're asking about a ban. They don't have the resources or the time to give every email a long and elaborate answer, unless you'd want it to take a couple weeks to get a response as opposed to a couple days.

Now, in Bryan's case, they should've given a different response based upon the circumstances. They could've even said "we'll look into it" and everything would've been fine.

Gamer and GFX Artist

I downloaded some heads from Graal Depot and uploaded them to the game. I'm practically a professional, surprised I haven't been hired to make art for Graal or even Activision or something yet.

worked for ubisoft

OT: the ticket system is kind of fine
you lot dont know how bad it was years back (post-bell-time after she resigned)

i bet there are so many tickets sent in that arent even filtered automatically and all answered manually
im kind of happy that i didnt become PWA, i always strived for something similar to Global GFX (my ******ed brother disbanded the team when he was Global GFX Admin with stefans approval with the meaning it wasnt neccessary anymore, unlike GST)

im now in a position im comfortable with

back then, the community tried to make something similar to a developers circle (dusty i think?)
but there wasnt "so" much interest in it

given the current playercount, it could be a thing again

i would put more effort into educational tutorialesque things ingame though, unixmad doesnt notice that its a educational goldmine opportunity he has with this game of his with that audience, but nobody sees the potential

i had/have ideas to realize them, but since theres barely anything in it for me, aside from a ton of karma...

nah its ok, let the PC client continue to get phased out

more players than ever before, where's all the devs?

Elk 02-16-2016 07:57 AM

there are many aspiring developers or people who like to do art, like a real ****ton, they just need to get kicked into the right direction to progress if they get morivated correctly :p

but most importantly would be some general course in work ethics

graal devs can't do **** if the game's own dev tools aren't even compatible with the latest version of windows...let alone osx. yea, gfx staff might be fine, but these players are gonna have a hard time (more than ever) learning gs2 or level making.

Skyzer 02-16-2016 12:31 PM

The game's own dev tools can't even do everything they should do. No layers in Editor. No light effects or scripts in GraalShop.

Elk 02-16-2016 01:28 PM

yeah, that would need to get fixed first of course... ill start a new thread in 10 years ok (prob not even kidding yo)

To be fair, Xenthic sounds like some cancer-causing material found in Chinese imports.

fitting?

Not bad I'll go with that or maybe some sort of chemical in processed food.

It wasn't lol, I couldve said something but it's not worth it because it ends up in a derailed thread so make a joke about it and leave it as that.
