Just have players being able to join spars when under X MS if you already try to have laggers not spar (which is ridicolous aswell) and have staff focus on important stuff instead?

They are only d/c people who are forcing lag. They can tell when your ms suddenly changes above your average ms.

You did start lagging pretty badly, was there to witness it.

This happened with Abood, he got a warning from admins after sparring while "lagging" when it was only his natural delay.....I heard sugar also got banned for the same reason.

This is wrong because we all know red has to much of a ego to be vpning and waste it all. Also the server can fluctuate your ms by a lot. I usually sit on 215ms and when the server hits over 4K it can easily move up to 350ms.

doubt it, there's a problem with the app. something is incompatible. when i try to log through my ipod, it displays the disconnection msg.

i saw that as well while i was pking in the swamp pond. 6-7 players just froze and took them a good 1-2 min before reconnecting.

It should've been "She was banned for ONLY having <250 ms" or "her ms was her usual and she got banned"

Don't use "lagging" because she isn't lagging, she's DELAYING behind

The only advice I can give to people is

Don't use programs or other methods that affect your upload speed, makes you delay.
Don't download games or movies/whatever, that makes you lag.

Try to keep your connection clean. Between 2000 and 4000 players, your ms shouldn't have a difference of more than 100, if it's more, then you need to "tell your parents to" stop using a lot of bandwith.

I have terrible internet, multiple people on this post will be able to vouch for me.
But I guess it is ok for people like "raege" "Joshia" "kite" to lag all around the place and not be hittable.

My internet is fine in mornings , completely smooth , and at night I have like 500MS sometimes , I'm British btw. Red shouldn't be getting disconnected , the sparring community is full of laggers and delayers what does it matter , probably just an admin with nothing better to do lol , just like the admin that monitored my account and banned me as soon as I sent an inappropriate message , to someone who didn't even report me. Just monitoring my acc cuz someone told them to , for the banter I guess?? Half the time they don't care about lag , just wrong timing for u red lol

Everyone has totally listened to my egalitarian approaches to dealing with laggers in spar. I.e. set a limit on rolling latency and packet loss as a condition for participation, even if you're convinced it has to be a variable limit.

The complete disconnect in communication between staff and players when it comes to this is awful. Sugar was banned and has no idea why. Even if she could appeal, she doesn't speak English well enough to defend herself. It's way too easy to ban players like that for as long as you want and get away with it. I'll bet the staff member that warned you can't fluently explain how latency works, etc. Just dumb people doing what they think is the right thing.

There's also this weird new thing going around where people are allegedly getting warned or banned for "inappropriate PMs" to people they're having a consenting conversation with. Zicknex mentioned it happening to him once before, and now Alex just told me about it. Super weird that GPs can even read PM history when a block feature exists... If two people are PMing, I don't see why they shouldn't be able to curse or do whatever the hell they want as long as they aren't reporting each other.
