I don't think lowering the value is the right call. Because that screws over a lot of innocent players too (and technically everyone is innocent anyway. People were just catching bugs as they were spawning. Not the players' faults that the spawn rate was jacked). I even posted about this 2 days ago to try and grab someone's attention so this exact thing (price nerf) wouldn't happen. So yeah, I'm a little ticked off.

Thing is though man, is that people were racking up sooooo many mantises. I do not know about everyone else, but I was seeing some guys and gals get between 500-1000 a day; (myself included, I was able to get a good 100 in an hour).

What exactly causes the problem? Was the code designed to increase bugs the more players are on? (Just like gralats with more people in the same level - according to admins themselves back in 2013).

Fishing. Different kinds for dawn and dusk.

Catching bugs. Different kinds for day or night.
