@ all except it absolutely does.. 2-3 months ago there was someone sparring who was clearly speeding and the admin I contacted (won't say who) said "they aren't speeding it just looks fast because they lag"

They were going like 30% slower than the person in OPs video. Obviously there is no avoiding admins just not being online but there should be admins who can tell what speeding looks like. Besides the point entirely but it just had to be said.

If everyone watching reported this person, I find it hard to believe the staff won't check out the situation.. Unless there were no staff online. I personally report every instance of cheating in spar I personally witness, and I strongly encourage others to do the same. It is our best course of action against this aside from complaining about it without decisive action.

If the lack of online staff is an issue, perhaps the administration team should look into accepting another application. But it isn't my job, and I won't say I know what's going on behind the scenes.

It still doesn't. That just means the GP interpreted it and possibly poorly. Same could happen to any GP designated at the spar arena. You think GPs are inactive now? Imagine if all they could do was sit in the spar arena and watch people. They would only be on for an hour a day, if that. It would be a waste of a position.

They've hired more GPs but most of them are one timezone altogether.

Issue is most GPs are in the same timezone, I went to bed woke up and came online and he was still there.

This was a 6 hr time period, he had multiple accounts too.

the fact that people think the suggestion is ~so crazy~ when there are players who are actually willing to do this who aren't being hired is the problem
GP don't actively monitor the arena or towers and it's not even "LMFAO" to suggest that they probably should

I feel like there are admins on but just slack. Had to wait 3hours for a head while a friend got theirs in 5 mins tops.

Could you reference me to a post where I suggested that every single GP sit in the spar arena and spectate every spar? I just said it would be productive to have a GP or two dedicated to the general spar area- because that is where most of these people are abusing speed toggle anyways.

Why is it a radical idea to make the place that attracts these speeders/etc the most a place where they aren't able to do it because of constant supervision? They also need these admins at towers, pyrat quests, etc. Any place that people can use speed or any other kind of hack to get ahead in the game competitively.

I'm not saying their powers don't or shouldn't extend outside of the spar arena, because that's crazy. But there are objective and fair players who understand sparring and know what speeding or hacking looks like, so they would more than likely stick around the spar arena.

Either hire a spar GP or bring back the 'admin' list. 😂

Then ask yourself why the majority of them have no experience in actually playing the game itself
