But.... Android is so blocky! I'm assuming the OS type is the same for every device here when I say this, but android is so ugly and awful and argh!!
I mean, look:

That's like a 3 year old version of Android and you're comparing it to the latest version of iOS so I don't think that's really fair.
This is closer to what you might find on a current Android device:
The thing is you can customise everything, from the way folders and icons look to how the notification bar is laid out so there isn't a proper "Android" look as everyone's can be different.

iOS is SO much better in aesthetic and prettiness and oh my gosh
Plus, the cloud system is pretty solid as well. While android does have all the Google accounts connected, I don't think it has anything like Photo Stream

Yeah, iOS has always been one step ahead in terms of aesthetics but for me it's not a massive issue as Android is never that far behind.
The Google cloud/drive system on Android is amazing. All photos, videos, app data, messages, contacts and pretty much everything on your phone is backed up and can be accessed from a browser or mobile. You can pretty much factory reset your phone and restore everything to exactly how it was.

Either way, I think you and I Vendetta use our phones a tad differently. Asaiki, if you're still thinking of which one to buy, if design and smoothness is what's important to you, get the iPhone.

Yeah I completely agree. It's all personal preference and it all just depends on what you're using your phone for.

I don't know if it's a Samsung problem, but I had the Galaxy S3 when it came out, and it was fine at first, but after a year of moderate use, the apps would always crash and the OS was bogged down. Had to constantly kill processes with it.
|
Hm. Yeah, I'm fairly sure that was an issue with earlier Android devices - I had a HTC Wildfire around 2010 and it started to run slowly after 2 years so I just moved to an iPhone.

Also, my friend has bad experiences with his 1 year old Galaxy Note. A phone shouldn't be something you replace every year; it should last you a while.
|
Exactly, phones should last a while! The iPhone I got had a similar issue with running slowly after a few years and even worse they just stopped pushing out updates for it, the same thing happened with my iTouch and I was just left unable to use many apps. Apple are constantly trying to upgrade you to the newest model and it's just ridiculous. Pretty much everyone I know who has the iPhone has the latest generation and it just proves that Apple are geniuses in marketing.
