But.... Android is so blocky! I'm assuming the OS type is the same for every device here when I say this, but android is so ugly and awful and argh!!

I mean, look:

That's like a 3 year old version of Android and you're comparing it to the latest version of iOS so I don't think that's really fair.

This is closer to what you might find on a current Android device:

The thing is you can customise everything, from the way folders and icons look to how the notification bar is laid out so there isn't a proper "Android" look as everyone's can be different.

iOS is SO much better in aesthetic and prettiness and oh my gosh
Plus, the cloud system is pretty solid as well. While android does have all the Google accounts connected, I don't think it has anything like Photo Stream

Yeah, iOS has always been one step ahead in terms of aesthetics but for me it's not a massive issue as Android is never that far behind.

The Google cloud/drive system on Android is amazing. All photos, videos, app data, messages, contacts and pretty much everything on your phone is backed up and can be accessed from a browser or mobile. You can pretty much factory reset your phone and restore everything to exactly how it was.

Either way, I think you and I Vendetta use our phones a tad differently. Asaiki, if you're still thinking of which one to buy, if design and smoothness is what's important to you, get the iPhone.

Yeah I completely agree. It's all personal preference and it all just depends on what you're using your phone for.

I don't know if it's a Samsung problem, but I had the Galaxy S3 when it came out, and it was fine at first, but after a year of moderate use, the apps would always crash and the OS was bogged down. Had to constantly kill processes with it.

Hm. Yeah, I'm fairly sure that was an issue with earlier Android devices - I had a HTC Wildfire around 2010 and it started to run slowly after 2 years so I just moved to an iPhone.

Also, my friend has bad experiences with his 1 year old Galaxy Note. A phone shouldn't be something you replace every year; it should last you a while.

Exactly, phones should last a while! The iPhone I got had a similar issue with running slowly after a few years and even worse they just stopped pushing out updates for it, the same thing happened with my iTouch and I was just left unable to use many apps. Apple are constantly trying to upgrade you to the newest model and it's just ridiculous. Pretty much everyone I know who has the iPhone has the latest generation and it just proves that Apple are geniuses in marketing.

Wait doesn't the s7 have wireless charging? That's a game changer.

*update* not sure if the little wireless pad thing has a wire

I've always preferred the iOS interface over Android.

Much simpler and not visual herpes.

I once had to borrow my dad's Galaxy S3 for the weekend and holy ****, I was close to just smashing that thing and getting him an iPhone.

Wireless charging is ******ed, takes way longer and is completely unnecessary.

if you're tech illiterate get an iphone, otherwise you basically pick whichever one you prefer.

i dislike both operating systems but android seems less ******ed. mine still has some dumb**** though, like there's no filter to make it so only phone contacts show up in my phonebook, so i basically have 14 years of google emails in my phone app's contact list.

Also make sure your mail app of choice doesn't have the option to merge contacts enabled.

But I agree it's dumb. No reason imo to ever want to merge e-mail contacts. Maybe if e-mail contacts were manually managed like phone contacts, but it's just a history list of every single person you've ever e-mailed or have been e-mailed from. No need for that ****.

I've went from iPhone 4 to a Galaxy S5 to a HTC One M8 and finally a Galaxy Note 5. Honestly I had a way better experience with my S5 than the HTC and iPhone.

iPhone battery was was dying faster months after I had it and I wasn't even playing graal then and this was back in 2010 when I didn't even have internet so I was downloading games over my friends house. My brother has a iPhone 6S and it dies after about 5-6 hours. He's had it since his birthday last year. My S5 lasted over 10 hours when I went on a road trip and I had it since 2014.. Galaxy S7 has even better battery then that.

Cameras on both are good and the app store on both feels the same to me just a little, but it feels iPhone might have a bit more apps. I kinda do miss face time though.

Overall I like android more because its feels more high tech in my hands. Their are so many things that make it feel like a mini computer to me.

the latest oxygenOS fixed a lot of my issues but there are still some annoying bugs. if you get a good deal then go for it. three's resolution is 1080 btw, so its not that high compared to the screen's actual size.

Ya i heard the latest update fixes ram management issues. Don't care about the 1080 screen, probably wouldn't be able to tell

I know its the most brightest and lowest screen for any android phone which is good

Also the finger print sensor on it turned me on

What kind of bugs are you experiencing?

about 1/30 times the phone requires a reboot else you won't pick up an internet connection when you're out and about. very annoying when you're outside.

theres a glitch related to priority calls (the oneplus 2 has this little button that goes from no alerts - priority calls only - all calls). i never use it but it sometimes just doesnt ring when people call me. i have to flick the switch up and down again for it to fix. this is ****ING STUPID because this is a PHONE FIRST AND EVERYTHING ELSE SECOND. if its function as a phone is bugged then we have a massive problem

other than that oxygenOS really stepped it up. the previous version was very slow, glitchy, and just a bad experience. this current one is good, almost like a vanilla android phone. i use google launcher so its almost exactly like using my nexus 5.
