Adventuring update got me excited but it was a letdown, which is what every update for Minecraft seems to be. I really wish they would go the direction of Terraria with lots of unique weaponry and progression. Right now it doesn't matter how many dungeon-esque areas they spawn in the world when I have no motivation to find them because all I'll find is bread and horse armor. Hell, they added fossils but they do nothing! and that pretty much sums up Minecraft as a whole now. Couldn't even turn it into a cool fossilized sword or armor or even furniture

Also turns into a giant "**** you" when you get a ****ty world seed. Coco and I wanted to try the new adventuring update but got nothing but desert and birch forest in an endless loop it seems. Didn't find anything from the new update, even after resorting to creative and flying in every direction.

I just want to feel excited to explore and find cool stuff in chests, but I don't think that will ever happen. It's like finding a dungeon in Zelda that's just a bunch of empty rooms with no puzzles and chests full of bombs and arrows.

I used cheats to find the new structures, but imo they were barely worth exploring.

That's the reason why mods exist, since minecraft will never become like that from what I can tell

Haha, this reminds me of when i had tunnels under all of my friends houses and would take their stuff when they weren't there because you could open chests from underneath. I miss the days when i played in the same server with my friends and go on adventures together, like when we built a massive railroad across the world and had our own cities which would be linked together by the rails. Mine was the second biggest city. Now i play totally different games to everyone else. They all play mainstream games.

I've played mod packs like Hexxit which makes it more progressive but at the same time they tend to be disorganized and sloppy.

Me and my friends have a Realm on which we play together.

I don't necessarily like Minecraft, but it's fun to play with my Graalians friends.

I would love to see Graalians Minecraft return. I haven't really played Minecraft in a few years, but if Graalians were to return, so would I. I would also be willing to help programming the plugins if you decide to go down that route.

There are a lot of mod packs available which are ridiculously fun, challenging and progressive-based. Sky Factory is one of them. Crack pack is one of the most famous mod pack for its creative and wide variety of mods. There are add-ons for other mods to make them progressive.
