Darlene joined to message me about something that had already been worked out by the time she got in contact with me, there is nothing so far that indicates she is going to be a moderator.

Will she at some point? Maybe, but right now she has done nothing but just register and browse the forums which everyone has the right to do. It's extremely disappointing to see you guys talk about how great Graalians is but then harass Darlene every chance possible just for being here, especially when the majority of you are doing it as it's the "cool" thing to do.

While, yes, it's within the realm of possibilities that everything goes south and Graalians won't be the same, it's also possible that things for the most part will remain relatively normal and Graalians won't be as bad as you guys are thinking it will be.

Me leaving is in no way 'jumping ship' because I'm expecting Graalians to be ruined, I've just had some personal disagreements with certain parties and my time to move on was already approaching due to real life responsibilities.

A forum is only as good as its users are so I suggest you guys actually wait for a valid reason before hitting the panic button.

Was it your call to accept payments on behalf of Graalians, or was that out of your hands? I don't know Graalians' circumstances, but to head an independent fan-community and accept money from that kind of source takes a substantial lack of integrity. I can't fault Cyberjoueurs or whatever the company is now for approaching a with the intention of a buyout, that's just common sense for a business to want to control every popular platform of their product. But jesus, man.

I don't know most of the people that frequent this place, but I know without a doubt in my mind that a not insignificant number older Graal players would've been willing to donate to keep this place independent.
