Don't worry though, if we don't get 40 people signed up after auditions we'll still take people up until the event starts on June 10th. Will let you know how many spots are open after auditions.

I would but then I'd have to play Classic, and you know how much I dislike that. :(

The joke for the audition is just for fun. It doesn't actually determine who gets to participate and who doesn't.

You may be wondering what this is and the answer in short is that it's a player hosted event by some members of the NightOwls guild. In specific though this event was the original idea of Milo so most credit goes to her. So if you have any complaints blame her.

HOW DO I JOIN?

We're only going to allow a maximum of 40 people participate. We're hosting auditions, because why not we're bored. How it will go is: you can PM me in-game(DO NOT pm my staff account as this is a player event, so only pm my PLAYER account username: Snow Noob Feare), so I can write your name down and then JUNE 8th @ 11pm EST I will invite you to my GH where you will have to tell us the most funny joke you know. The judge panel should include Milo, Kai, Guri, Green, and me - but that could change depending on if someone flakes. If we don't get more than 40 requests to participate you'll probably all be accepted, but I still want jokes.

WHAT'S THE PRIZE?

1st place - 30k
2nd place - 15k
3rd place - 5k
Although, Milo is still farming so who knows if she'll finish.

WHEN AND WHERE IS THE EVENT?

If you're selected to participate, the event will be JUNE 10th @ 9pm EST. We realize this is pretty late at night for most people, but from the data Milo collected from the previous survey it was the best option.

HOW DOES THE EVENT WORK?

The event is point-accumulation based so you'll be earning points over each mini-game we play and the top three with most points will place 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

The list of mini-games include:

Hide and Seek (will be map-wide)

Sword Tag (you'll start at 0.5 health and see who can be last standing)

Turf Wars (will be using bow and arrows)

Bush Race

Capture the Flag

Pot Smuggler (carry a water pot from one part of map to other)

It may seem like a small list for 40 people, but there will be different rounds making it longer and more options for points.

DISCLAIMER

You MUST have discord to participate in this. We will be inviting everyone, who is selected to participate, to a group server to keep everything in order and go over in more specifics the rules.

Well, that's a conclusion to the auditions we hosted! It went ALOT better than I expected.

PLEASE read the updated "HOW DO I JOIN" section on my original post, as we are still taking participants and if you're interested in still joining the main event, it tells you howto.

Thanks everyone who did make it to the auditions, like I said it was just for fun. Milo will be leading and hosting the main event on Saturday so I pass the torch on to her. The judges and I will still be helping out, but it's her main event so hold her accountable!

The update to the judge list is as follows: Milo, Guri, Kai, Green, Default, Lueegy, Star, and me.

I was unable to get any pictures, as it was a bit chaotic. I do though, however, have the list of final points and the 3 winners!

Agonee - 3rd

We ended up only hosting Hide and Seek, Pot Smuggler, Bush Race, and Sword Tag. This was because a lot less people turned out and the event was seeming to drag on too long. It was a bit rocky at first during Hide and Seek, because people didn't stick with their designated teams, but it ended up working out throughout the other events.

We definitely know what we need to update when we host again. Thanks to everyone who participated and we hope you all had fun!

Hide and Seek started off pretty chaotically but I think it all went pretty well after other than a feel small bumps. Really had quite a bit of fun hosting with NightOwls members and Star. We're thinking about doing something like this again in December and hopefully it'll be more organized then. Hope it was as fun for the participants as it was for us!
