Yes, i agree that 300ms is too low; was just an idea at the time. I think (i dont know what the ms is for these) that the lag cap should allow (low) and (moderate) lag, the rest capped.

I know you need under 500ms for events in UN, That seems fair.
I think it should be allowed to spike up to 1000ms as long as it is resolved quickly, otherwise 500ms would be nice. You won't end up sparring the 400-500ms people with that anyway.

I agree whit this i try to get my spar to positive but i wont reach it if i keep losing from laggers
300? low? i was at a motel,i sparred with 300 ms and i warped every 3 seconds, when im home i spar with 49-60 ms.. ALL THE TIME. i cant keep count of how many laggers i lose to... id enjoy a pc only room, and ipod only room, than 2 mixed rooms and a THREE HUNDRED lag cap room... 300 hundred is not low.
i was lagging extremely hard an hour ago, and my ms was only 414. so yeah, 300ms lag cap sounds great.
My guess would be that all Australians have never had their ping below 200ms. If you can't beat me at 300ms and blame it on lag, you plain out suck. That's not laggy. You learn to compensate for the slight difference.
If everyone sparred at 0ms all spars would be ties. |
